I would advise everyone to avoid this store given the racist experience my wife was subject to on Wednesday 16th February. My wife was shopping with our two daughters as part of our eldest daughters 13th birthday day out. When they went to try on clothes they were completely ignored by a store employee. My wife, who is Latina had to ask for a fitting room and the girl begrudgingly opened the door and offered no further assistance. This was the opposite to a white customer who was greeted and dealt with politely. When they exited the fitting room, the employee took no interest and didn’t offer to check out her purchases. Instead she look down her nose at my wife. When they all returned to the car and explained what had happened I went to the store. I am a white male from England. I picked out a shirt and went to the same employee. She introduced herself and asked if I needed assistance. I tried on a shirt. When I left the fitting room I was asked if it was ok. I said no and as I was leaving was told “no problem, I can take that, have a nice day”. I was shocked and went to speak to the manager. The manager didn’t even have the decency to apologize. When prompted she still offered no apology. This matter is currently with their corporate team, who after three phone calls have not had the decency to offer a token gesture for any compensation. I have been so excited to try on a pair of pants at this location (as this store expensive asl and I’m not tryna waste my money on clothes that don’t fit) (especially when I gotta upkeep my Tyler Durden Sigma based appearance) anyways a girl downstairs was v kind and helped me find the right item. HOWEVER,, When I went upstairs to use the fitting rooms the customer service was absolutely atrocious! We practically got urged to leave although there were people in the fitting rooms already trying on large numbers of clothes at a time (13 yo, is this even aloud!!!). Furthermore, is this just irony or unfair treatment am I right?? I am guy, expect bias. I observed and feel that everything is overpriced and cheaply made. Product selection is impressively and meticulously laid out. The being played music was good, also meticulously chosen. I did hear a new rihanna song I really liked. However, The music selection seemed more like forceful hipster suggestions than a choice.
