HumanKind Fair Trade — Local services in San Luis Obispo

I ordered a 14 inch Higuerilla wood bowl from HumanKind Fair Trade in SLO. The bowl arrived in a timely fashion and was packaged expertly. I realized the bowl was smaller than I wanted and emailed and called the store about an exchange. I had the pleasure of speaking with Katie who went so far above and beyond to help me! Katie emailed me a return label and made it extremely easy for me to return the bowl. As soon as the bowl was received I got another email letting me know my item was refunded. I was instructed to place a new order and Katie took the time to email 4 photos of the in-stock 17 inch bowls so that I could select the grain/tone I liked best.

I had further questions and she took the time to email more photos and she even took time to set the 14 inch bowl I returned beside the 17 inch bowl for comparison purposes. I was actually stunned to receive such excellent customer service. This is just not the norm in this day and age.

I was told by another customer I could take my purse back to this store and pay for a repair if needed. Went in today to see if it was true, and one of the male staff members helped me fix it! A beautiful store, that is much larger on the inside than you might think looking from the outside. They have a wide range of unique products from around the world. The prices are affordable, and really, the selection is amazing. I highly encourage anyone to come in and spend a few minutes and check out their offerings.
