Springtown Center — Attraction in San Marcos

I just moved to San marcos area back on 10/23 from Houston and had not yet been to a nail salon out here so I went to Trendy nails located next door to Tiffs Treats and felt very welcomed and showed them a picture from instagram how I wanted my nails. I request initially full set w/ pedicure (shellac polish). TAO did my pedicure very friendly and patient because I could not decide a color btw I am very picky and like things precise so I finally found one and she did a wonderful job also Sunny did my colored French overlay and was also very welcoming and helpful because I could not decide on the acrylic or overlay … I do not like my nails long anywho he was also very patient and helped me decide. It was extra for the French overlay but worth it lastly Rosey did the tips… and she did them exactly how I wanted them not to thick. Did I say I am very picky lol all of them understood the assignment! Visited Satgrass in San Marcos. They recently moved from the falls.... if they could manage to get it wrong... they did. Im hoping its just growing pains. Manager tried to make it bearable by giving us a discount. That paid for a steak and a half. Which was fine since my dog ate my overcooked steak. YES it was that over cooked. Had to wait after paying bill. Another manager left with my landrys card (you have to pay for this rewards card. Worth it!). Kids got ice cream for the wait. Been going to this chain forever. Stopped in to Hopdoddy Burger Bar. This was extremely overpriced and very disappointing. The burger patties are obviously frozen patties that have been heated up and put on a sweet roll. Then the fires were warm but had a texture that made me think they were stale. I took 2 bites and decided I was done. We had a group of 11 people, and everyone had the same feedback. This place charges too much for a terrible excuse for a hamburger. Just for my wife, granddaughter, and I, it was over $50.00. If you want a good burger, don't waste your time with...
