That’s practically unheard of, especially when it comes to console repairs.

The technician at Sand City, Zade, quickly laid out what would likely be involved and the associated costs. He offered to get it done in 30 minutes but I had errands. It was ready when I returned and working well. It turned out that it only needed a cleaning due to some hay that got inside. I carry a tub of hay on my left hip every morning to feed my goats, and I carry my phone in my left pocket. The cleaning cost $30. I thought this was outrageous because it was only two pieces of hay, and I can get a whole bale of hay for $31! I was told by apple that my phone is bricked, it’s a brand new iPhone XR, I brought it to best buy same thing brought to several repair centers all over Monterey and Carmel.
