I recently brought a bin of clothes for resale. The receipt you sign says they will text you and you can accept the offer. Instead someone from the store called me (Stephanie) and told me I can have $10.44 in cash or $15.13 in credit. I asked which items as I had brought in over 60 articles of clothing. She didn't give me an exact item description and I said I would take the offer after I see what items and can she send me something. The text came through AFTER my call and once I realized it was 8 items for that price I declined it by pressing 3, following the text message prompt. When I went to pick up the rest of my clothes, the girl in the store tried to help but said she couldn't find the items. They had already tagged them and put them on the floor to sell. After going through 2 store managers, they all said the same thing. Point of reference; I had Zara & GAP clothes in the items they took and they were all in excellent condition. I would never sell something like that for $1.30 an item. Thieves. Really bad business practice and no...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreItās hard to describe the intensity of the fragrance in this store. The fragrance itself is fine, but the amount they use is so extreme it makes it difficult to shop in their store.
I recently purchased a baby item that is on its 4th wash with no signs of the smell coming out. Iāll probably toss the item as itās not safe for babies. For a store that sells such a great inventory of baby/childrenās items, youād think they would be more cautious of the fragrances and chemicals seeping into the fabrics.
EDIT: It took 6 washes and an hour long baking soda bath for the scent to fade. It is still prevalent, but more tolerable.
I read in some comments from the shop that they use essential oil diffusers as a ānaturalā way to scent the store. If youāre an oil user you know how expensive safe oils are. Whatever āessential oilsā they are using have to be the absolute cheapest on the market with how much they must go through for the store to be fragranced to the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe first time I came in to sell clothes there was a 1week wait time and this time it was 1-3 days. You get paid less here than shops like Platoās Closet or Style Encore but itās still less work than trying to sell online on my own. Yesterday I was told that the box had to be level, so I mushed down the clothes in order to meet the request. The box was so heavy that someone had to help me put it on the counter. They donāt show you what items are in the purchase offer and after asking was showed the computer screen that said shirt, pants, sweater. Any other place will bring over the bin of items they wish to purchase. When they brought me my bin back it not only looked less full but weighed considerably less when I picked it up. While everyone is friendly the business practices are not very transparent. Iām also not the first one in these reviews to have left feeling like youāre missing things. They could definitely improve on their turnaround time and...
