2024 was the worst experience of Zozobra. 100 years was absolutely over packed, to say the very least. The 10-minute countdown was the worst spectacular ever people started booing the announcer and each following person trying to talk to us while we were packed like sardines. I said forget it and left before Mr. Gloom was on fire. Out of three years coming, this one was the biggest and worst one yet..... I can't think of this as a family-friendly event. It felt like it could riot at any moment, and people would be dead from a human stampede on those uneven surfaces. New Mexico needs to do better. Limit the people. Find a bigger venue. Get an announcer that doesn't run out of breath from walking on stage to introduce people or talk to the crowd. Will rethink...

I know allot of people go to Fort Marcy park to see zozobra burn. And I know you try your best, I understand this. But I think better organization can be done. It rained and we all got soaked, and then the wind didn't help any, it made it cold. I think you should have a certain line for handicap and disabled with their caregivers. My caregiver and I got soaked. But we made the best of it. Maybe on cold rainy/snowy days like yesterday. You should have hot chocolate. And ONLY on those days. Anyway I'd like to go again next year. I'm going to try and talk my caregiver into going. But after last night's fiasco I don't know. But I really will try cuz I really like going to it. I look forward to...

I love it! A very family-friendly, pet friendly park. People were playing with their children, flying a kite, playing on the playground, or just playing with their pet. We walked around the path and walked 3 miles for exercise with our fur baby. I love the fact that they have built in ground exercise machines for working out! What a great idea!! This park must have been built with the idea of family in mind. There's something for everyone to do. On the other side, they have a dog 🐕 park. We enjoyed our time here in Santa Fe, New Mexico. So many things to see and do. This is our second time here, and we truly enjoyed the family-friendly...

Easy parking. Entrance was the same which was nice. Now after the gate?? The vendor(s) set up could have been better. A vendor was sold out of there corn and kept lying to everyone about when corn would be ready. I only bring this issue up because it is truly good when they have it!! And for Old Man Gloom talk about a mechanical failure! Lol. Couldn't figure out why his head burned first. Now I get it! Look forward to the next one.

Was here for my first Burning of Zozobra festival. The park was packed, but the crowd was friendly, there was no litter, and a very visible police presence. The stage was easily seen from the entire field and there were large screens set up as well. My only grumble was the bottleneck created as all 40k+ people tried to leave thru the same exit.
