It was a rainy day. I had just torn a hole in my jeans. My dog was being annoying. My parents were being annoying (why do you think I was moving out in the first place!). The whole morning was - you guessed it - annoying. The last straw was going to be this moving company if they came late and weren't willing to be helpful and listen to directions.

God, imagine how big my smile was on my face when they were not only on time but even a little early and were ready to get down to business (my parents told me I was dumb for not trying to move it on my own and paying someone else to do it.) They quickly saw why I was right. I have a lot of heavy stuff. I have heavy music equipment. A couple of computers. An armoire that my granddad gave me. I'm not moving that on my own. I'm not paying my slacker friend $20 either when I know he's going to drop something.

They came up shook my hand, listened to a couple of special directions I had and then it was off to the races. Listen, I'm not expecting to be treated like a princess (these dudes were lifting heavy stuff all day, I get it), but they actually did treat me pretty professional. One of them even sat there and was playing with my dog.

These movers gave me great service - that's awesome, I loved it, but I wouldn't even care as much about that as long as all my things got there without a scratch. I couldn't have damage to my stuff. There's family heirlooms and music equipment that I've been using for years. I was stressing out the whole ride to my new place. God, what's it going to look like when they swing that backdoor of the truck open? Is it in pieces? Who am I going to scream at? (Answer: none of them. They're all huge dudes). You get the gist. It was my imagination running wild but thankfully when they opened that door it had no where else to run because I saw that my stuff was going to be fine. They took their time getting the big pieces out and when generous when listening to exactly where I wanted it put. No damages, no scuffs, no scratches - better than anything my buddy and I could do on a saturday morning. And those parents? Only have to listen to them over the phone once a...

I don’t usually take the time to write reviews but once in awhile I come across a company that offers such an exceptional level of service that I just feel obligated to leave a review. I have had to hire several moving companies in the last several years from constantly moving for my line of work that I do, and I can no longer do the moving myself because of my back problems.

The first thing that I noticed about Santa Monica Movers that really stood out to me was the professional staff all of who were very friendly and patient with me. I had some gripes I wanted to communicate about previous experiences and they listened to me and made sure to prevent any issues from occurring. My main concern was the safety of my collectibles. In a previous move with a different company one of the crew had spilled coffee on a box of my comics that were worth over $20,000.00. Needless to say I wanted to make sure that such things would not occur again!

When the crew came out they had been notified about my collectibles and took special precautions to make sure everything went smoothly and no damages occurred. The manager even came out to supervise just to make sure that I had a good experience. They are very serious about customer satisfaction and went out of their way to ensure that they did a quality job.

All in all the entire experience moving was very positive. No damages occurred throughout the move, the movers were always where they said they were going to be on time, the staff was very professional and friendly, and they went out of their way for me to ensure that I received a quality service and no damages to any of my collectibles. This is a great company that thrives on customer satisfaction and if you want a job done right then you should call Santa...

My name is Janis Van Tine and my husband Ned Auspitz and i had THE MOST INCREDIBLE experience with Sergio, Andrei and Urii.

Our move was from my mother's house who recently passed away and my childhood home where we cared for her, to our new condo. The experience was not only emotional but also difficult in our eyes until these magical men of steel came and knocked it out of the park! OUTSTANDING!

They were kind, considerate and dedicated to us! They reassured us from the minute they walked in with Sergio in the lead. We knew once again as we've used your service before that we were so very well taken care of.

5 hrs of packing they nailed it and guided me on my mess of clothes and shoes. Although organized, i was overwhelmed and they made is easy by theur step by step calm and so positive attitudes! Then 7 hrs plus of getting it all in a complicated building and set things up so we could feel at home. No one dies this better than your service and your employees.

They are miracle workers and you are so lucky to have such hardworking, devoted, strong and tenacious young men. They made our move possible and what seems impossible to us.

I am eternally grateful to Sergio, Andrei and Urii and i hope you know you have the Greatest recommendation from my husband and I always.

We will move again in a couple of years and you can bet we'll call you!
