Was planing a trip here so called them since it says there in the u district the guy that answers the phone just says hello like if he’s at home does not even let u know wt bussiness u have called 🤦♀️ and then they say there are closer to balled then downtown Seattle like ok then says Swedish hospital on capital hill ? Like wt then he tells me he’s new he doesn’t rely know ok I’m coming from out of town and he does know where he’s even located but works here Hhmm strange I ask do I have a food court he says no and then says there about 1/4 the size of a Trader Joe’s now Trader Joe’s is small but this place if there 1/4 the size of them then this place has to be tiny tiney and now thinking probably not worth going especially if u have employees that have no clause where they are even wiring can’t give u no info on there store and when soemone that has never been here before knows your store more then they do it’s like wow who are they hiring so I think this one will be a no for us not worth the time or effort to get there I’m sure there is lots of others that are way better and the reviews and pics I have seen if there outdated food and moldy donuts just did it in I think who wants to waste money in this economy for the horrible customer service and bad moldy food no wonder there not selling nothing maybe get new management in there to hire and train better workers u will get...
Read moreSuper compact H Mart location in the University District. This location is really convenient if you don't want to go all the way out to Lynnwood, and the parking isn't crazy expensive from what we found, but people haven't been going out as much as usual. Parking is kind of limited, but my boyfriend has managed to park his camper van nearby so it can be done. The store itself isn't very big, but has two stories to make up for lack of square footage. Feels reminiscent of stores in Korea or Japan that I've been to, even down to a hot drink machine at the register with canned coffees ready and waiting on cold days. Lots of tasty baked goods to tempt you upon entering, too. The meat we've had from here was good, though maybe a little expensive. Not a huge assortment of options for some items, so if you're looking for a very specific variety of kimchi they might not have it. I really like "ponytail" kimchi with young radish but didn't see any here. Overall I'm happy with what I found here, and prices didn't seem too much different, but I'll likely go to the larger location or one of their competitors in Lynnwood next time I'm out North instead. Fun people watching here, though! And definitely an interesting and lively neighborhood worth checking out when society isn't in...
Read morethis H-Mart is not part of the chain of each March that are everywhere else but instead a privately owned one that is owned buy a older lady and her husband. now her husband we don't see very often but this lady herself she owns 3/4 of the University of Washington's street that we called the Ave otherwise known as University way now I don't know why she does but it is honest-to-god truth to say that this lady does not like the street kids because she calls the cops on every last one of them for sitting in doorways that she happens to Owned businesses of whether she see's them doing anything or not she will always report them and make up stories about them and then turn around and tell them that they can't be on that side of the street even though she is not on the road the road is public property and so is the sidewalks but where they get you at is that if the awning that comes off that building covers of sidewalk they own as much of the sidewalk as that awning covers but they don't own the whole sidewalk. Ask for H-Mart well it's a good store good prices and great people that work there it's just the owner of the store that gives you the...
