My dog and I go to this park 6 days a week. There's always at least a few dogs there, the majority of owners are super nice and friendly, and the views of the city are phenomenal. The location is great for an active dog living in the city. Only complaints that I have are a few people that we have ran into, but that's part of living in a city.

This park is need of some TLC (Tender Love and Care). For example, the pillars need cleaning and lights are broken. At least there’s a garbage can. What would make this a five star park is a deep clean, fully repaired lighting, benches/picnic tables, and allocated food vendor spaces.

Stumbled upon the park by accident while I was playing tourist, it’s peculiar to come across these columns. It’s fine to see during the day but do Not come here at night for safety reasons unless you’re the adventurous sort.

Highly recommended! Revel in the glory days of the Old Ones here at the ruins of the Church of Starry Wisdom. Visitors from all over the world still make the pilgrimage in the traditional way, crawling their way along the faded Silver Road from the Denny Triangle (history fact: prior to the Denny Regrade in 1897, pilgrims were encouraged to make the journey blindfolded, in honor of the First Ones).

Best time to visit is on Walpurgisnacht - the columns will bleed when touched, and the local chapter of the Friends of Yuggoth is on hand to recite the 8 forbidden passages from the Book of the Dead to all who dare listen. Be aware there are no restroom facilities or...

The off leash dog park is across the street from the columns.

The park has water for dogs and humans, poop bags, and some fabric tunnels and fences for agility. The entire park is covered with a few inches of gravel which tended to get into my slip on shoes.

My dog had a good time playing with a few dogs that came through on a weekday morning. Some people hanging around by the fence threw some pita bread over the fence that I didn't want him eating so I had to take it away and put it in the garbage.

All in all a nice little park and a good place to stop for a while to let my pup play on my...

Would be nice if there was a plaque explaining the background of pillar park. Why are there giant Roman style pillars standing tall yet supporting nothing? What was here prior? Who built it? And why? It has an odd feeling resonating from them. Was this part of the Old World and was it built by the far more advanced civilization that was here long before we settled here? So...
