I chose Premiere on Pine because it was one of few places in Seattle where I could rent a reserved EV charging space. I lived there for a year and I loved it. What's awesome is that this is one of the best managed apartment buildings in the entire world. These people are amazing. Just one example: immediately after moving in, we had guests coming for dinner and we realized that we had only two chairs. We called the front desk and asked if there was any way we could borrow two -- it was after hours, mind you -- and even though we were advised that this was an "unusual" request, within minutes, two chairs showed up at our front door! Whenever I requested maintenance on my apartment, it was completed either the same day or the next day. And as others have mentioned, Jean Marc, who works at the front desk, genuinely cares about his residents and looks out for us. One time, he called me to let me know that I'd left my car door open.
The 40th floor community space and roof deck was almost like having our own private Space Needle, and I personally loved going to the 40th floor to watch the sunrise. The only thing that I didn't like is that there are TV sets in the wide-open 40th floor community space, so it can be a bit unpleasant to spend time up there if other residents are using them -- since it was old-fashioned cable TV and not an ad-free streaming service, the advertisements were even louder than whatever people were watching, and they tended to boom across the entire 40th floor, interrupting conversations, etc. Personally, I would have preferred for the TV sets to be controlled by management and used only for special events: after all, people can watch TV in their own apartments and/or in the theater room, and I didn't like that just a few people could ruin the 40th floor experience for everyone else. But, having lived in other buildings with more severe annoyances, this was a minor inconvenience overall.
The heat pump in our unit was quiet and worked flawlessly, so it was always easy to keep the temperature just right, no matter what it was like outside. Most other places where I've lived in Seattle have had cheap, inefficient electric heaters and no AC. We were comfortable inside on hot summer days, even when some of our friends were complaining!
One more thing: we never, ever, ever heard neighbors through the walls. We never heard our neighbors through the floor. I realize that all concrete high rises tend to be quieter than wood frame apartment buildings, but having peace and quiet at home -- especially in Downtown Seattle -- really was priceless.
If you're looking for a place to live in Downtown Seattle, I definitely would recommend...

Pros: People from leasing office are friendly. Top floor lounge is beautiful and spacious. The app used for reservation and maintenance is useful.
Cons: I have moved in here for fewer than 2 months, and I lost my packages/deliveries for 3 times, and they are lost from different delivery means. (More details at the end of the review: If You Want to Lost Your Packages, Stay With Premiere on Pine)
Every time I contact the management and they will say they are sorry but NO SOLUTION. At these moment I feel very uncomfortable and unsafe to live here.
It is claimed to have 24/7 concierge, but the receptionist is often not there. Not only during lunch break and late night, but also any random hours in the morning or afternoon. Probably this is why the delivery is so poorly managed.
As other reviews have mentioned, the construction site is across the street. I don't have noise concerns, but it is because I intentionally select a higher floor and a unit that is on the opposite side.
If You Want to Lost Your Packages, Stay With Premiere on Pine
For the first time, the package values $100+ and was said to be delivered to my door by Fetch. The package is lost within 30min at my doorstep.
Fetch is a last-mile delivery startup the building has signed up for and there is no way to opt out it. I would say just avoid Premiere on Pine simply because of Fetch. It's slower and harder to track. The package from UPS and Fedex will automatically be redirected to the Fetch address even though if you have put the building address. Meanwhile they do not take any responsibility if your package is lost during the process as long as they marked it as delivered.
Yesterday I lost 2 bags out of 4 Amazon Fresh grocery deliveries. Basically all takeout and groceries are delivered to the lobby without any notification. When I came down, I only get the remaining bags. The missing bags even include very heavy items such as water bottles and watermelons.
And today an Amazon package again just lost. The app says it is delivered to a receptionist and the lobby could not find that. This is the dealbreaker for me to leave this comment here. I haven't lost any package during the past 8 years. 3 times in a row is truly unacceptable. No need to say they are lost by different delivery means, including Fetch/UPS, Amazon Fresh and TBA...
Read moreOne Year Update: Apartment: Couldn’t be happier. Layout is great. Everything works as it’s supposed to. Hardly any sound travels through the walls which is a big plus for me since I like my peace and quiet. Amenities: Apart from the existing amenities like the convenient coffee machine, gym, rooftop lounge area, secured package room, a few things got added over the course of a year. There is now an updated event space, a new media room, and an exercise studio on the 40th floor. People: Neighbours are cordial. Staff is welcoming and helpful. Special Mentions: Katie and Emma run a tight ship (which isn’t easy in a building with over 500 residents). Collin and Justin are always ready to help with any admin issues, and are regularly hosting fun events for the residents. Bayron, Daniel and Omar work hard to ensure things run smoothly, and when something breaks, is fixed asap. The housekeeping staff is extremely hard working making sure common areas are always clean.
It has been a wonderful experience at Premiere on Pine. The entire PoP staff does a great job at making residents feel welcome. Katie and Emma make sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Collin and Blaine always host fun events, and give residents the opportunity to engage with the PoP community. Justin and Kiona at the concierge desk always greet you with a smile. Bayron and his maintenance team make sure everything in the building is functioning as it should. Housekeeping staff ensures the building is kept extremely clean. It checked all the boxes for me when I was looking for an apartment. An apartment with new appliances ensures I (hopefully) won’t be dealing with a broken stove, fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer. 24-hour concierge and member/resident only access to almost the entire building ensures safety. Dedicated package room with access code entry for all my amazon packages. Lounge/common area with Wi-Fi to get some work done. Views from the rooftop, and the building staff were...
