I used to go to this store almost every day. Until one of the employees there felt like he had the power or permission to touch my body. He lured me to the back of the store right in front of the door to the store room. Which was also right below the camera. He wasn't worried about a customer coming in the store in the middle of the day. He continue sly kept grabbing at my clothes while trying to shove my head down into his lap. I kept goin for his hands, pleading with him to stop. He finally did after from me finally being able to play along and promising him that I would be back. He tore the button off of my overall shorts. I was violated and completely disrespected by someone who has a ton of access to other vulnerable women and children. I went to the police and they only made me feel like they were to busy to assist me. *Please everyone be aware of your surroundings and the people that you come in contact with. One word, fraud. Place still wrongly charges taxes on items that there is no legally required tax for (referring to sugar taxes). They laugh it off just to take an extra 50% on items blaming the city when it’s not a taxable item. (Lite and diet drinks are not taxable under the sugar tax). This issue is honestly a shame. The store caries a decent selection and the prices aren’t bad for the convenience. But the store workers refuse to abide by the best practices of their competitors (QFC, Whole Foods, Albertsons, Safeway, and the other local convenience stores) and see any beverage as taxable under the sugar tax and manually put it into the system, often times with the tax equally 25-50% of the items sale value. Bottom line, paying a 50% add on beyond sticker price for a light or diet item is misrepresentation. The tax law says those items should not be subject to increased tax. The sign says one price. It's a wonderful market but there hrs are way different on the door says they open at 7 am and you get there and there not open till 830 /900 am sometime should change hrs on door as well as there are many things in the store that are old and past there sale date the frozen stuff alot of it is old and for the price I know you pay for convenience but 499 for a pot pie and it's old not to happy about that the candy is not so fresh and there are some other items that's not good to bye because the sale by date is off by months some thing even by years just be sure and look at that before you bye he is high but as I said that the price you pay for convenience ..
