If you’re debating between Arizona Safari Jeep Tours and those “other” companies (ahem, Pink Jeep)… stop right now and BOOK THIS TOUR. Especially if you’re lucky enough to get Joe and Carmine.
We did the Mogollon Rim Run Supreme and it was truly one of the most unforgettable experiences of our entire Sedona trip. Joe and Carmine didn’t just guide us — they took care of us like we were their own family. Every detail, from making sure we had jaw-dropping photo ops, to creating hilarious moments of laughter, to offering genuine, thoughtful support to the elder in our group — it was above and beyond anything we could have imagined.
This wasn’t just a jeep ride — it was a thrilling, heartfelt, hilarious adventure across some of the most breathtaking terrain Arizona has to offer. Joe and Carmine kept the ride exciting and safe, masterfully handling every bump and turn while weaving in fascinating stories, local history, and jokes that had us laughing out loud. They made sure we all felt included, comfortable, and totally in awe.
The views on the Mogollon Rim are OUT OF THIS WORLD. And thanks to Joe and Carmine, we got the best secret photo stops and angles that you’d never find on your own — they knew exactly when and where to pause for the magic.
And listen — we saw those pink jeeps out there… crowded, rushed, commercial. Meanwhile, we were laughing with our guides, soaking in the views, getting personalized attention, and feeling like we were on a private adventure designed just for us.
Arizona Safari Jeep Tours is the real deal. Authentic. Heartfelt. Expertly guided. If you want the best Sedona experience you’ll be raving about for years, book the Mogollon Rim Run Supreme and cross your fingers you get Joe and Carmine. (Actually — just request them!)*

Read moreWe took this guided tour of the Sedona area and it was the highlight of our Arizona visit! We were able to visit several spots on our list during this half-day drive, and our day was customized for us by our guide, Michael. We ended up on a private tour because no one else had booked the 8:30 am trip, and Michael took the time to get to know us and show us the highlights with his fun and informative style. It was exciting to see the energy vortex spots like Airport Mesa and Rachel's Knoll (beautiful viewpoints), monuments like Chapel of the Holy Cross, a Native American market where I bought some lovely pieces from local artisans, and much more. This tour did not disappoint, and you'll be glad you booked this excursion with the Cadillac of off-road jeeps!! Michael was hilarious and also an enjoyable storyteller, historical guide, and a long-time local who had all kinds of information and context about the founding of Sedona and its historical background. He was fun and did a great job sharing his enthusiasm and love for Sedona, geological formations, and the local area. He took some great photos of us and also gave us local dining tips as well as a few other interesting spots to see during our stay here--we will be visiting the town of Jerome to check that out later! Things to note: You are riding in an open-air jeep, so hang onto your hat if you have one. If you need a light jacket for the early morning, bring one along with your sunscreen. Wear comfy shoes so you can walk easily and comfortably at stops. Our guide had a ton of cold water handy in case we needed it and was very accommodating. Don't forget to thank your...
Read moreOur Arizona Safari Jeep tour with our guide Joe was a wonderful experience. The vehicles that are used are modified Jeep Gladiators easily capable of navigating any type or terrain. We chose the Outlaw Trail for our tour. Joe was extremely well versed in the history of the area and trails and also had extensive botany and geology knowledge. The Outlaw Trail recieved it's name because that's the trail the stage coaches took on their way to Jerome AZ and outlaws use to rob the stage coaches on the trail. The trail was very rugged with some fairly steep drops and lots of twists and turns with some of them being heavily banked. My wife was nervous prior to the tour, but Joe took extra care over the roughest spots and she never appeared to be nervous or concerned during the trip. We learned a lot about the plants, animals, geology and history of the area. All told by Joe in a very interesting and informative manner. The views along the trail were amazing! We stopped frequently to take them in. Joe took some nice group shots of us at various places along the trail where we stopped for the view. Joe really cares about the area and volunteers to maintain the trails in his spare time. It was trully an afternoon well spent and I would highly recommend taking this...
