I had just gotten married and Mt daughter flew in from Florida her boyfriend and we went to Sedona for 2 nights before she had to fly back to Florida. On our last night before my daughter was to leave I stopped at the fudge store. I wanted to have a fudge party and share the fudge with my family. The owner I believe her name Noelle did not want to cut the fudge and said I wanted to rush to eat the fudge. That fudge should be eaten slowly. So I didn't insist on cutting the fudge. She offered my family a 20% discount coupon at the ice cream shop which she never gave us. I assume she was unhappy with me because i asked her to cut up the fudge. Nevertheless the fudge was not fresh and was precut and wrapped individually and was dry. I would suggest to Noelle to visit Old Town San Diego where the fudge is fresh and cut to order and if customers want it cut up into bite size pieces it is not a problem and customers are treated nicer. Or any other fudge shop for that matter. I would recommend if you go to the Sedona Fudge shop not to ask Noelle to cut your fudge she will may...
Read moreJust because a recipe is from the 1800s does not mean it is a good recipe. The girl behind the counter did not have a warm-welcome presence and had a bit of an attitude. The fudge is mediocre at best, is bland, a bit dry, has a grainy texture, and is far too expensive. Shall never go there again. If there is cow butter in the recipe, there is no taste of it. The shop is small, crowded, dull, and not appealing. There is no parking except for narrow, pull-in spaces IF you can find one available. I love famous, exceptional See's Candy and fudge and shall continue to go there. We had never visited Sedona before and just went for Mother's Day luncheon. Sedona is an upscale town with exquisite views of mountains, rock formations, and nature. Seems as if there are tour-bus places on every block....
Read moreI have been coming to Sedona Fudge Company for over 20 years. And there's a reason for that. The fudge was a perfect match to Mackinac island. The owner, the sweetest person, Integrity on keeping that recipe pure perfect. Bless the owner 🙏. The grandkids and or whoever else is there isn't up to par, not near. The caramel apples...sitting in the window you can see the green apple with the caramel barely there. The fudge is very soft, never firm's to their grandmother's way. The taste is off. Sad to see changes that aren't going great. Ive been there a few times since the kids took over. Walking by the smell of fudge is not there either. Sad to say, after 20 plus years were not returning. Our trips to Sedona will be walking past the once great fudge...
