Office Depot — Attraction in Shallotte

Every time I go into this location I am reminded of days gone past, the staff all needs replacing, the management team needs replacing because they set the tone for a bad experience for all the employees. How about shaving or bathing or cutting your hair or washing your clothes and looking like you are an employee of a major chain. They allow bad behavior and rudeness. This store never looks clean, you would have thought that someone would be able to spruce the floors up or hire a cleaning crew or get the employees to actually get out from behind the bar area and help customers. I am tired of calling and calling and calling to get anyone on the phone for a stock item they supposedly have. Honestly Corporate shut it down and hire some people who will assist people and get back to what you use to be. Change couldn't come at a better time.

1/9/2025 update I want everyone to understand something here, it does no good to follow a link that corporate sends and to post anything to corporate because all they do is forward your complaint to the people who you are complaining about. Office Depot in Shallotte has the most knowledgeable, professional, and friendly staff I have seen in quite some time. My 7 year old Granddaughter and myself went to have color photos made of our parasailing adventure we had gone on recently which were sold to us on an SD card. Chris knew exactly what I wanted, and he made great suggestions to fit my budget (there were 28 pictures). I really liked that he also acknowledged my Granddaughter and made her feel important as a customer too. Most stores I go to do not even acknowledge she is with me, so that was a wonderful experience. My Granddaughter and I both left Office Depot satisfied with the prints and happy to have been helped by Chris. Thank you for a stellar job Chris! I just wanted to say that today was one of those extremely difficult and incredibly hard days for no reason at all. I was trying to return an item through FedEx and because of Morgan and Breanna I was finally able to get it done. This does not sound like a hard thing but when you put it together with the rest of my day, I feel so strongly about this that I have to give a rave review to these two ladies at Office Depot in Shallotte for making me not only feel so much better but being so nice and so helpful!
