I ordered the archer 5-piece king storage bedroom set in July. This experience has been mismanaged and mishandled at every step of the way and every level by Gardner-White. I waited 6 whole months for a set I paid for in July, while being lied to month by month that my wait time would only be one month. If I knew it would have taken this long I would have refunded it, but I kept getting pulled along saying that it would only take 2-4 more weeks. At that point you’d just be patient and wait. On the website there is no clear indication of the set being backordered, or that there are extremely long wait times. I know Covid slowed everything down, but the issue is a lack of honesty and integrity. Gardner-White still has this item listed in their clearance section as a “Hot Item” with no indication of it being out of stock and is still taking customers money for a set they cannot deliver on for at least 6 months. When the set was finally coming in stock, I had to accept having it delivered in two separate deliveries. The first deliver I received the chest and dresser, the experience was completely unprofessional. The 3rd party delivery team literally tried to do a drive by of the house, didn’t knock on our door, and called my phone for a split second and hung up – just so that they could report we weren’t home and waiting and they could skip our delivery. My partner and I were home all day and I noticed the truck outside, they drove away while I expected them to walk to the door. I called the phone back to no answer, then called Gardner-White who told me I was reported as not being home and that I’d have to reschedule. While on the phone the delivery people came back and acted like nothing happened. They were very rude and literally unboxed our furniture outside our front door and left garbage on our porch and lawn for me to chase around on a windy day. When we were to receive our second delivery that was confirmed to me multiple times is “everything left” and “all remaining pieces” we took apart our old bedframe and mattress and removed it from the space. When the delivery company showed up they informed us that we were only receiving two nightstands. I called Gardner-White to follow up and they said that the bedframe was out of stock and I’d have to continue waiting. I don’t know why I was promised to receive the bedframe and it was a hassle taking apart our old setup and having to put it back together to have a place to sleep. On the third and final delivery, we received our bedframe. The delivery people were professional this time and I have no complaints about them, other than one of the drawers on the bedframe being damaged and needing to be replaced. Finally, after nearly 7 months I had the furniture set I paid for in full immediately. I was happy to start putting this terrible experience behind me and be able to sleep on the new mattress we purchased 6 months ago (because we were told we’d receive our set in one month.) On our FIRST night sleeping on the new bedframe, we were awoken early in the morning to our mattress crashing through the frame and hitting the ground. The frame’s support is so measly and weak at how it bears weight that it couldn’t even last one night of us sleeping still on it. These planks of wood hang across the length of the entire bedframe with only two legitimate points of contact on either end. So now the frame has broken in a way that makes it unusable and we have this massive piece of furniture taking up most of our bedroom with no where to set our mattress. This experience is such a nightmare, I cannot even begin to fathom how I can ever trust Gardner-White again. I am so incredibly disappointed by the service and professionalism of this company and the lack of honesty and integrity. I fully expect to be contacted back and I want this issue resolved immediately. I’m sick of losing sleep over Gardner-White’s mismanagement of my purchase and I feel like a fool to have been patient for so long. I’m going to include photos of how the bedframe has broken.

If I could give GW a zero star, I would! They have put me through so much for the past 1 1/2 months. I made the mistake of going there to buy a bunk bed for my kids. It was a floor sample so I got a decent deal. When they delivered that bed, the delivery person had NO idea that I had paid extra for them to assemble it. Then he says okay, I can assemble it & he’s in there sweating away for 30-40 mins. I looked after & said, “where is the safety rail?” He said, “I don’t know!” What is a bunk bed without a safety rail?! He said he will order one. I noticed something didn’t look right w/ the bed. The bolts were not fastened all the way & there was a random sharp screw just sticking out of the bed, right by the ladder which could’ve seriously hurt my kids! Then another set of delivery guys come w/ the safety rail & they realized the bed was assembled all wrong & they couldn’t put the safety rail on or even unassemble the bed because they didn’t have the right tools. So they said they will notify the store & have a technician come out to unassemble the bed. I didn’t hear back from them so I kept calling them to check up on it & they kept telling me we will call you back, but would never call back. I went up to the store & asked to talk to a manager & Megan at the desk told me let me look into this & I will get this fixed. She calls me back & tells me this bed cannot he unassembled & it’s unsafe so you can come to the store & pick out another one. I went to the store to pick out another one. They acted like it was no big deal & I was getting a great deal on a different one. I ended up having to pay another $400 for a different style. I shouldn’t have had to pay because it was GW’s mistake in the first place, but I was just ready to be done with this situation. When they came to deliver the second bed & remove the first one, they told me the same thing, “we can’t get this bed unassembled, we don’t have the right tools, you need a technician.” I went back to the store AGAIN & asked for a manager. Megan, the same lady at the counter, gave me an attitude & told me there’s no manager right now & she’s very overwhelmed & just wants to go home. She calls me back the next day & tells me they will send out a technician, so I missed work to make sure I was home. I got a notification that a technician named “Nick” is coming to my house. Instead, ANOTHER set of delivery men showed up at my house, they told me the EXACT SAME THING!! By this time I was LIVID!!!! I went up to the store & saw the manager sitting there & went OFF on him. He told the lady at the counter, “just give her a refund & let’s just be done with it.” He didn’t apologize or anything that GW failed us so many times. My kids have been without a bed for 1 1/2 months! I got a call back from Alexa & she said a technician will come out Monday to unassemble the bed. I don’t know what to believe anymore. I asked why a technician had not come out this whole time, she said there was a communication gap between the store, the corporate office & the delivery company. This is the most UNPROFESSIONAL service I have ever received from anybody. I have purchased so many things from GW, I NEVER go there again! They use a 3rd party delivery company who are not professional people who know how to assemble things. ALL 8 of the delivery guys that showed up at my house smelled like they had been smoking weed!

The only reason I am giving two stars is because of the Salesman Eli. He was absolutely fantastic, listened to what we were looking for, made his recommendations, and showed up plenty of options. Eli has gone above and beyond to assist as best he can with no help from corporate or his managers! Now onto the train wreck of customer support. We ended up spending $5000 on a couch and love seat in October and have only been able to use one side of the loveseat for about a month. Add in the fact I am on my 3rd loveseat because it continues to break and/or come damaged. First one showed up with a split cable for the power unit, missing the rubber foots and ended up damaging our flooring. GW sent someone to fix the floor and said they were ordering parts. Instead of parts they sent a new loveseat without telling us. Second one shows up and is fine. Less than a month in the left side of my loveseat frame breaks and a spring snapped off the one side. Can’t use the one side. Contact GW telling them my concerns and all I get is I have to wait for parts which could take 8-10 weeks. At this point I have a paperweight in my living room and haven’t owned the couches for more than 4 months. Absolute trash. GW customer support does not care about you or their products they simply care about their bottom line. They say they will look into it, put you on hold forever, come back on say they need to call you back then never do. They are Dishonest, don’t care about you or the fact you spend thousands of dollars for products they do not even support! I’ve been paying on these without being able to actually use them and no one seems to give a crap. Do NOT buy from GW. Save yourself the time and headache! I will not be shopping her again. I am actively in process of filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because of the cluster of issues I’m dealing with!

I should know better after the way the treated me and hubby a couple years ago they sent the two wrong recliners I could not use because of my hands and I called every day to have them come get only to be laughed at on the phone and very rude,! I even asked how to contact Rachael the President of GW only to be told they handle it if you call And burn Hills well don't waste your time they tell you only what they are told to preach it to you! They ended up keeping our 400.00 of our money as they call it a Restocking fee when it was the wrong chairs sent to us! So we also bought a motorized bed 8 years ago it was a Serta that was collapsing on the sides you call and they tell you it was only good for 7 years but the warranty states 19 years and they make you go through the Serra Company even though they sell the products to you,but don't back it up once you leave the store! I am still going to file a complaint to get our 400.00 back but Lies are they only thing that come from the stores! I needed a new bed since Serrta Company is not handling any of the damaged mattress they sold to tons of customers with the same complaint,so I headed to the Sterling Heights store and wanted to check out there 50 percent off sale they had going and I figured I could check out the beds to see what other stores would carry it besides GW so we get there the guy Phillip was a Card trying to sell me everything but the bed plus other things I picked out a bed asked the price it was 2500.00 bed riser 500.00 and I found a PC desk for 419.00 dollars he left for awhile came back said it was in stock could be delivered anytime I said what about the bed half off they advertise on TV with the President of GW he said not for those beds? I said of course not same old thing false advertising as they always do! So he says I will be right back again thirty mins later he comes back as me about my credit card I said I have a GW cc have not used it in 7 years he asks for my driver's license to get the paper work going I ask what is the total? He says Over 5200.00 out the door! Hubby looked at me I said what? He said the pillow on the bed is 100.00 plus the riser was 1509.00 bed 3000.00 desk on sale 418.00 plus mattress pad warranty another 509.00 plus another warranty for the bed another outrageous price I said hubby let's go I am done he says wait I will be right back he comes back with another guy employer I said who is this? He says he works here to help in case you want to come back you won't have to talk to anyone else but me or him He says here is our card I say good bye was extremely upset from how dishonest he was and of course I will never be back again they have such bad reviews but the Company does not care about the Customers at all! I could write a book all the problems they have caused over the past twenty five years and it is only getting worse; oh and that 300.00 MasterCard they advertise you get as a gift don't get excited that is a false thing to they claim they can take the 300.00 off the riser for the bed but it never happens they rack on other things that make no sense they just want the sake and commission and don't care if you are a great returning customer or not! I say always BEWARE they are like SHARKS when you walk out n and that has never changed! If I could give GW a zero star, I would! They have put me through so much for the past 1 1/2 months. I made the mistake of going there to buy a bunk bed for my kids. It was a floor sample so I got a decent deal. When they delivered that bed, the delivery person had NO idea that I had paid extra for them to assemble it. Then he says okay, I can assemble it & he’s in there sweating away for 30-40 mins. I looked after & said, “where is the safety rail?” He said, “I don’t know!” What is a bunk bed without a safety rail?! He said he will order one. I noticed something didn’t look right w/ the bed. The bolts were not fastened all the way & there was a random sharp screw just sticking out of the bed, right by the ladder which could’ve seriously hurt my kids! Then another set of delivery guys come w/ the safety rail & they realized the bed was assembled all wrong & they couldn’t put the safety rail on or even unassemble the bed because they didn’t have the right tools. So they said they will notify the store & have a technician come out to unassemble the bed. I didn’t hear back from them so I kept calling them to check up on it & they kept telling me we will call you back, but would never call back. I went up to the store & asked to talk to a manager & Megan at the desk told me let me look into this & I will get this fixed. She calls me back & tells me this bed cannot he unassembled & it’s unsafe so you can come to the store & pick out another one. I went to the store to pick out another one. They acted like it was no big deal & I was getting a great deal on a different one. I ended up having to pay another $400 for a different style. I shouldn’t have had to pay because it was GW’s mistake in the first place, but I was just ready to be done with this situation. When they came to deliver the second bed & remove the first one, they told me the same thing, “we can’t get this bed unassembled, we don’t have the right tools, you need a technician.” I went back to the store AGAIN & asked for a manager. Megan, the same lady at the counter, gave me an attitude & told me there’s no manager right now & she’s very overwhelmed & just wants to go home. She calls me back the next day & tells me they will send out a technician, so I missed work to make sure I was home. I got a notification that a technician named “Nick” is coming to my house. Instead, ANOTHER set of delivery men showed up at my house, they told me the EXACT SAME THING!! By this time I was LIVID!!!! I went up to the store & saw the manager sitting there & went OFF on him. He told the lady at the counter, “just give her a refund & let’s just be done with it.” He didn’t apologize or anything that GW failed us so many times. My kids have been without a bed for 1 1/2 months! I got a call back from Alexa & she said a technician will come out Monday to unassemble the bed. I don’t know what to believe anymore. I asked why a technician had not come out this whole time, she said there was a communication gap between the store, the corporate office & the delivery company. This is the most UNPROFESSIONAL service I have ever received from anybody. I have purchased so many things from GW, I NEVER go there again! They use a 3rd party delivery company who are not professional people who know how to assemble things. ALL 8 of the delivery guys that showed up at my house smelled like they had been...
