Utica Cemetery — Attraction in Shelby Charter Township

My mother has been buried here here 18 years and now with new owners we are no longer allowed to decorate her grave site and it was always decorated beautifully! They have removed landscaping from around the head stone, ran over live plants with the lawnmower and now they have removed the 2 (yes 2) solar lights and a flower bouquet. We have had 2 Plots beside each other for 26+ years. Utica Cemetary WAS a good place for loved ones until it was sold some years back. Once that took place, it's been awful. Planted a morning glory on my Mother's Grave on Memorial Day and just came to plant Mum's on her Birthday today and landscaper just came and asked what the morning glory was and then proceeded to tell me that it has to go according to the rules and the mum's I just planted will be gone as well 😭😭😭.. this is just heartbreaking!!
