Azalea Regional Shopping Center — Attraction in South Gate

A gem of South Gate that revitalized an entire little city. Always clean, with many places to eat and shop. There is pride of place here, and many events are often held near the fountain.

The busiest day seems to be Sunday, and the In N Out is always busy. There is a thriving Pokemon Go community.

People are nice. You will occasionally be asked for bus money, so keep some change in your pocket if you're into helping out some of your fellow Humans... or don't, if you're not into that.

If you're going to get scammed, it's going to be by the Petco, near the Azalea letters. That's where they loiter. Avoid it. I don't know why they always target people there.

I tend to stay away from the Walmart area in general. The cars get very aggressive, but then again, there are some picnic tables on the other side of the Walmart.

There's a Starbucks across the street, and at the other corner there's a 7-11, so there are a lot of options for a nice day out shopping. Just be smart, just like at any other shopping center.

The worst Walmart. It's a shame to see how the Latin community is treated with the worst customer service. We waited for about 40 minutes to get a bottle of aspirin, the button does not work and I kept asking the person in front checking receipts at the door, I waited and saw people change shifts and still no one came to help. I even asked the pharmacists, and that was worse they weren't able to help my aunt who only speaks Spanish (again this is a predominantly Latin community) so they just dismissed her, and when I came they had an attitude and said to ask the person at the door again. Well after one person decided to leave without medication there was another lady also waiting with us. Finally someone came and no apology no customer service, just some sass from the young lady. Please do better Wal-Mart and Latin employees, help your community out and give decent customer service. We are a big portion of the population & contributors it's time we are...

I was told this Walmart had a particular camcorder. The electronics Department failed to answer many of my questions. When I was provided information, it was false! In fact, she claimed she couldn't look other stores inventory. She claimed another model camcorder was the same thing. Clearly there was 2 different model numbers. Sony HDRCCX440 clearance price $124 and Sony HDRCCX240 $189.00 She claimed the only difference was the color. False!!! She brushed me off by sending me to Customer Service Dept. False! Customer Service told me she has access to all electronic information. The Lead Dept Manager for electronics was rude, very unprofessional and gave incorrect information. I ended up purchasing the camcorder at Pico Rivera store. Blanca assisted me with excellent customer service and I ended up getting it for $70 clearance. I will never shop at the South Gate...
