I made on order online to pick up in store, while at work I receive an email & text thanking me for picking up my order at 2:19pm on 6/28/23. I immediately call the store at 2:22 pm to inform them that I received the message and that I personally did not pick up the order, nor did I authorize anyone else to pick up my order. The person I was speaking to on the phone claimed she was the store manager and that her name was âSamâ. I explained to her what was going on and right from the beginning she had an attitude. She put me on hold while she checked with the employee who Sam said was working with the order pick ups. Sam comes back to the line and tells me âA gentleman who said was picking up the order for his sister took âyourâ order and the order number was verified. I tried to further explain to âSAMâ that I do not have a brother and I did not authorize âANYONE ELSEâ to pick up the order. I asked Sam if there was an ID verified for the person who picked up the order being that he was not the person who purchased the items. I know every time I pick up an order Iâve been asked for an ID. Sam seemed more upset than I was, donât know the reason why but she started talking over me saying âMaâam the order was picked upâ repeating herself every time I tried to say something. I asked to speak to a manager, Sam paused for a couple of seconds then said âHow can I help you?â in a very sarcastic manner. That was not only unprofessional but disrespectful. I told Sam I would come pick up my order after I got off work. I come to the store same day about 6pm and ask to speak to the store manager âSamâ and the employee tells me âwe donât have a store manager or employee by the name Samâ. I then asked to speak to the store manager on site and was greeted by Haylee who assisted me and took care of my issue. Haylee you get 5 stars and thank you for your assistance and patience, very much appreciated. Iâve been shopping at this Michaelâs in SG for years, never had an issue. I told myself I would never come back to this Michaelâs but thanks to Haylee I will continue to shop here in person rather than on line.
My experience on 6/28 deserves no stars but I did give it 3 because this has never happened and I hope I never encounter an issue with another...
   Read moreEvery time I come to this store, it's DRAMA with signage in pricing. You have signs up for items that clearly state the description and price but believe you me, you can always count on this store to throw you a curve ball and everything not be correct as advertised. I saw they had frames that were buy 1, get 2 free. Awesome deal! However, the signage was ALL WRONG! On top of that, the signage that was up, displayed the correct description of items I wanted and there were no other signs contradicting the price. When I bring this up, the associate informs me they didn't put the signage up. Thats not the customers problem, were not psychic! So, if you have signs up that describe the items correctly why would you even put up a debate on not honoring the price you have displayed!? The associate in framing then goes and checks with her manager and honors the price and informs me "next time, its a no go!" As if Im the problem lol. All of it is so laughable. How about next time just have the correct pricing up of the items your selling, Shirlock! THE CUSTOMER IS NOT ALWAYS RIGHT. The one time they are right? Is when the customer assumes the price is correct for signs you have displaying the correct items! This is my last time coming to this store. No type of ownership of the mistake you made, but instead, gaslight customers when they show you what YOU display and put up! Train...
   Read moreA very ill prepared manager. Friends and I signed up for a class with our kids and they weren't prepared. They did not even "know we were coming"... even after showing them the confirmation they suggested we were at the wrong location!!!! The manager kept giving us the run around.... Finally when we were let in it turns out they sold too many tickets because we did not all fit?! There weren't enough supplies and when the associate running the class asked for more supplies the manager brought a few and said "they'll have to share because I am not bringing more than this". The associate helping us was outnumbered! She needed help but stayed as calm and patient as she could be but she did seem overwhelmed. I do not recommend coming here...
