Ross Dress for Less — Attraction in South Gate

I went strictly looking for gold/sterling silver earrings...was there extra early around 10 am, pushed the button for help & waited a bit...was shown items but I was not able to handle them or try them on which I understood but at the same time it didn't make sense shoppers & their children touch everything else! I hoped earrings & ring would be free of flaws BUT when I got home one of the huggie earrings was loose when I closed it BUMMMER! Luckily I'm handy but buyers be aware you won't be able to inspect jewelry pieces...A random comment as someone that's shopped at many Ross stores in Southern California this store wouldn't be so messy if SHOPPERS had some consideration/respect for a store they frequent maybe control your children & teach them to put items back where they got them...you should feel lucky you have a shopping center like Azalea do your part to...

I'm not really one to give reviews but this place wore my patience thin. If you're shopping here, try going when you have absolutely no plans for the rest of the day. Don't come if you're in a hurry.

I came in before work to buy some things for school, about two items give or take, the process should've taken less than five minutes. There were two cashiers open with five empty cashier lanes and they moved at snail's pace. As a fellow retail worker, I understand customers and technical difficulties are usually the cause of slow/long lines but this was inexcusable. Why not open another lane if you're being held up by two customers? It's stress inducing not only for the staff but the customers as well. Knowing me I'll probably go back when I can afford to wait in line but maybe they should...

Ross is very a good bargain retail store to find affordable clothes and appliances. It can be messy and disorganized, but all the clothes are low-cost. Sometimes you can get lucky and find brand name clothing. This Ross is like the other stores that it can be disorganized but you're shopping for bargains. You have to navigate through racks of clothing to find good selections. It's nice that there's fitting rooms available to try on the clothes. The best part is looking through the small gifts and snack section. You can really find good deals on snacks for friends or to take to work. The only issue is that lines can be long during peak hours. At the time I went there were only 4 cashiers but the line was...
