Our family had a great time at this amusement park. As per the website, there was no food or drink accommodations, but it is not completely fenced in, so you can easily get to the local restaurants/bars right next to it. The go cart was $20 for 6 laps for 1 adult & 1 child riding double (child loved that he had his own steering wheel in his seat too to portray as if he was driving). I must say, we have visited quite a few go cart businesses in our travels, and this place has an awesome unique wooden track with different stories and the multiple laps was a bonus (most places are typically 3 laps & then you have to wait in line again) pricing was average (check other locations online). We also played the mini golf (has 18 pars). Very nicely kept coarse. Greens looked brand new. Paid 4 adult prices ($40 total) for 2 adults, 11 & 8 years old (only 6 and under considered a child- but knew this per website). The price was a few bucks more than the last mini golf course we visited of 18 pars, but this place has a more fun course, in my opinion. It also was fun just watching those who were brave enough for the bungee cord. It's definitely a thrill seeking ride. We are hoping to have a chance to visit again before the end of our vacation trip. I suppose the only negative for me was waiting until the 6 pm opening time to start our fun, but seeing the place lit up at night made for some cool...
Read moreHORRIBLEEE EMPLOYEES. i went with some friends and got discriminated and ignored on purpose not just by the employees but by the manager as well. We went to the sky coaster and didn’t hear something the employee said because of the go karts next to us so we asked if she could repeat that one more time, she was standing right next to us and she completely ignored us even though we asked multiple times. this employee then proceeded to lift us up with us afraid something would go wrong since we didn’t hear what she had said which could’ve gone horribly. I then talked to the manager after. Manager was REALLY RACIST and said that they ignored us since we could’ve been from Monterrey. Being from Monterrey is even more of a reason to repeat due to langue barriers, not everyone understands en glish, especially since it’s a place where a lot of non-english speakers go. Manager basically said that they wouldn’t have ignored us if we weren’t from Mexico. really rude manager and horrible employees. manager also said they they were probably in a bad mood and i expressed that being in a bad mood is no reason to treat customers like this, especially with the amount we paid. Unless you’re white, i would suggest not going unless you want to feel discriminated, disrespected, and...
Read moreLet me be clear, the three star review I gave was NOT a reflection on any of the staff members and employees. They were all nice and doing their jobs. This is because I believe SPI should have a better amusement park. The go-karts were not fast, some equipment had rust, and they need more rides and attractions. They could also use some amusement park foods! The staff did a great job checking the equipment and safety features, and I know in this salty air will rust the metal and cables, but they're doing the best they can with what they got. What would I like to see next time I'm down for spring break or just a weekend vacation you might ask? Tear it down, find a bigger lot, and build it up bigger and better. I know this will cost money, but when families come in from all over, they will make time to visit this new attraction for years to come! Just like one of my favorite movies says......"If you build it, they will come." I'm not a fan of the water park with their high prices, long lines, and high prices. Plus if you build something new families could plan their weekend for a day at each park, and hopefully help with the long lines. Just my two cents. Oh and keep the employees you have, just give them something exciting to come...
