What a store! This place is a great place to visit with family or friends. This place is festive and heavily christmas decorated. There are many rooms filled beach themed christmas balls, ribbon, gift wrap, and more. If you arent into christmas theres a room filled with puzzles! There is also a candy shop too. They sell all the popular candies but also home made fudge and taffy. This shop has over 48 different flavors and even sugar free options. The shop also provides a patio on the outside of the shop and also picnic tables. Now for the service of this shop. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. For the tempurature of the shop it is overall cool at around the 70s. The space of the shop is tight because of the products there is only 5 feet of walking space. We always visit the Christmas store at SouthPort about once a month for candy and wreaths. I purchase wreaths for my myself, daughter and daughter in law at least 8 times a year from the Christmas store. The ladies there are so talented and make the most beautiful wreaths I’ve every seen. I went in hoping to purchase a patriot wreath today. The lady at the wreath counter was very rude when I ask about 4th of July wreaths. She said they were not making anymore today and she would make me a red, white, and blue now I could use on another wreath. There were only a few wreaths. No patriotic ones. They usual make wreaths at your request. I don’t know what’s going on there today. I would leave zero if i was allowed. I was absolutely humiliated and insulted by the staff taking my merchandise from me and stating she was going to take them to who knows where. My son and I picked out some gag gifts which were edible crickets, only to have an associate hunt us down in the store and take our items from us with no explanation! It was clear that out of all the customers in the store she was accusing us of being theives! I was embarrassed and humiliated In front of other customers and left there standing. When I approached a manager about this, the rude sales clerk interjected the conversation and basically tried to justify her horribly rude behavior as asset protection.
