Other Mothers — Attraction in Springfield

I have used both locations for years. The Kearney location is unfortunately closing and merging with the battlefield location. I usually go to the Kearney location as it's closer to me, since they're closing they're not accepting items to buy, therefore leaving me to go to the battlefield location. I haven't been to this location in years, probably 7 years. Went today and I overheard my name being said at least twice, but no one ever came over to me. Now I know I'm being talked about behind my back. Finish checking my items in and leave. When confronted via phone call, miraculously no one knew what I was taking about and the employee chalked it up to "they haven't seen me in a while." If they was true, said employee's would have said something when they seen me, in which they didn't. Point is, these employees talk about their customers behind their backs, but in public where other customers can hear. I don't appreciate this and I will...

They take advantage of young mothers & have no remorse doing so! I dropped off $4-500 worth of clothing & waited 3 weeks for my items to be looked at….. called over and over checking on them because I desperately needed the money & knew they were worth a lot. I was in class & not looking at my phone & see 2 missed calls 2 minutes away. About 15 mins later I call back & they tell me that because I didn’t answer the phone they had already processed all my items & they were on the floor for sale- unable to get back! So in 15 minutes ALL my items were on the floor already? NO These items had BEEN ON THE FLOOR ALREADY, they ASSUMED I didn’t want them and was making a donation probably because all the clothing was high end & nearly new! DO NOT GO HERE! AWFUL...

Best Store to shop at for gentle used items. Best prices in town. Great staff and owners. Linda is the sweetest and so intentional. They are always in the best spirit even after sorting through 1,382,747 drop off items. I am so thankful for this store. Keep up the great work team 💙 They give instore credit which is based on a percentage of what they will sell the item in their store not how much it is brand new online. They communicate effectively and give you the option to donate what they didn’t take.

I have recently seen a lot of negative reviews which I firmly believe is customers not understanding exactly how drop off exchanges work.

Please be kind to the staff. After all there are many other online places to sell your items if you don’t like...
