Koi Pond at Union Station — Attraction in St. Louis

It's such a cool place to relax and have a drink. Love the indoor/outdoor space around the Koi pond. There are blue boxes around the pond with Koi food that you only pay a quarter to use. In the middle of the pond are multiple flowers that shot fire up into the air to music on the top of each hour. You can feel the heat from the edge of the Koi pond from the chair area. We spent hours there just drinking and people watching. Very cool...

They have done an amazing job transforming Union Station. Where once lay old train tracks, there is now a koi pond (where Chouteau's pond evidently used to be before it was drained a long time ago). Adds a nice natural aesthetic to the complex. For nonCOVID times, there's also an area where it appears they intend to host live music...

A couple traveling through in late Oct. So we weren't there when everything was open, but parked, & went in to see the koi pond. Free of charge to go in, but had to pay for parking. Would recommend looking into more info especially if you have children. Looked to be fun...
