Very nice place, great staff. But the food just failed to impress. We had the burger, a mushroom pizza, brussel sprouts and smoked cauliflower, and a kids burger.

The food had wonderful sounding descriptions but everything came out terribly bland. The brussel sprouts were a mouth full of flavorless grease, the cauliflower was very heavily smoked with a bitter wood smoke and was completely devoid of any other flavor. It was served on top of a sauce with some peppers which were good but they complimented the dish so well but there wasn’t anywhere enough in the plate to make the cauliflower palatable. The kids burger and adult burger were the same exact patty which was an acceptable size but was dry and flavorless. The adult burger came pretty lightly dressed. The port wine cheese spread and tallow butter were very tasty additions but barely present on the already dry burger. The whole thing was a little small compared to the bun for my taste so I had to order additional toppings to try to make up for all of this. Speaking of which, even the aioli came across as flavorless.

The pizza was on a very simple hand made crust which was actually pretty good, but there were barely any toppings on the pizza. We got the mushroom pizza, barely any mushrooms, cheap plain generic tasting white cheese with kraft parm sprinkles on top. Practically no seasoning and I couldn’t really identify much of a sauce. I believe there was a kind of garlic/Alfredo/white sauce under the cheese burn it much to make an impression, which was disappointing because based on the other pizza ingredients listed, they definitely have everything to make a great pie.

In the end the only thing seasoned well were the French fries that came with the kids meal. I was pretty disappointed for the price paid and the food quality definitely did not match the quality of the rest of the restaurant. Hopefully my order was a fluke, but I felt I had to give my...

As avid restaurant goers, My Wife, two of our Friends, and myself visited this restaurant yesterday evening; we arrived at 6:15pm. The gentleman at the host stand told us it would be a 4 hour wait. NO ONE bothered to tell us that the 7 tables near the bar were first come, first serve. We discovered that after we saw a group of six rush a table that was being cleared. Two of the patrons with the group of six took two of the chairs from another table, leaving only two.

After the two ladies who were sitting at that table finished their meal, my Friend approached the table, but the two chairs were still missing. I informed a manager and told them that we needed the chairs asap. The Manager brought a third chair, but we never received a fourth chair, and the group who stole the chairs had their purses sitting in the fourth chair. No one made them give up the chair.

Also, there was a VIP table that was booked a week prior. We found out after we asked about the large table in the middle of the restaurant that was set-up. But, when my Executive Assistant called a week ago she was told that the restaurant did not accept reservations. So, how is it that this group was able to make a reservation but we weren’t given that option at all?

It seems as if anything goes at this restaurant. That should have NEVER happened, especially considering that there were hundreds of people still waiting to be seated. There seems to be no organization. We waited for 1.5 hours, got a table, and still couldn’t eat. What a shame, and what a waste. We traveled from Chesterfield just for our time to be wasted. We all own multi-million dollar businesses, we know when a business is poorly ran, and unorganized. I would like to receive a personal apology, and an...

So we went there after leaving the Stifel Theater for a bite to eat. We are sitting in the restaurant at least 25 minutes before we got a server, and I had to ask for one. Then we got a server who came over introduced himself, and asked what we would like, we told him we would like two of the stuffed tater tot appetizers, after about another 25 minutes a waitress showed up with one, then I told her we had ordered two, so she went to go get us another one. Our original waiter never did come back until sometime after. Then we spoke to our waiter who said that our original waiter was new and they're still working with him. On the menu I chose the roast chicken entree with the shiitake mushrooms and the garlic mashed potatoes instead of the fingerlings. While the food was delicious, what I received was not roast chicken it was in fact Cornish hen, I make Cornish hen every Thanksgiving or Christmas and I know the difference between a chicken and a Cornish hen, that was not chicken. The menu should state that it's roasted cornish hen not roast chicken. The manager did come over and apologize for everything, they also sent us another plate of stuffed tater tots as a courtesy which I appreciated. as mentioned previously the food was delicious, but the service needs a little work. To have to wait almost a half hour and have to ask can you get a server is ridiculous. We saw two whole families come in, be seated, get waited on, and leave before we got our main entree, we even had conversations with one of them. This restaurant has to do better with...

We will likely never return to this restaurant, despite our love for Union Station. The atmosphere is nice, although it is confusing after the Aquarium closes, and you must enter through the patio. The bar, tables, etc. are all very nice. We ordered the Stuffed Spuds, which are really just large tater tots, they were fine. A little cold and not the best. I also ordered the scallops which were good, but the green beans were not even warm and were not cooked at all (I'm used to fresh green beans, but you have to cook them, at least). The sauce was very salty and not great. Our main complaint was about the brussel sprouts - which are apparently fried in a deep fryer. They were burned to a char (photo included), and completely inedible. We are pretty sure that they had gotten cold, or were old, and then were re-fried. They were disgusting. We each took one small bite of the ash-like sprouts. When the server asked us how things were, we were honest and told her the sprouts were terrible and inedible, and she said, "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that." and then walked away from the table. She made no effort to take them back to have them remade, or remove them from our bill. My boyfriend got the Nashville Hot Chicken, he said it was dry, but it was a sandwich. Overall, I think we spent about $80, and were still a little hungry when we left. I'd recommend the seafood place or the Fountain instead, just avoid this one.
