I went to my first City SC game. I loved the energy from the crowd and the game atmosphere. However, we had spectator tickets which did not come with an assigned seat number. We had a large group of about 15 people and most of us joined the crowd walk which means we arrived about 1 hour prior to the game. We had two people who had not yet arrived but in the meantime we planned to get drinks, go to the bathroom, and grab dinner in the stadium. We had about 5 people at a time in our group leave to drinks and food and the rest stayed in our seats. At this time there were people piling in and we were telling people the seats were taken specifically for the people already in the stadium who were in line for food. Again, we had many people and only two seats we were truly saving for people who had not yet arrived. The other seats were taken by people who arrived in our initial crowd but were just in line. An usher then proceeded to yell at us without asking what was going on. She mentioned we all needed to move inward and we complied. This was despite us telling her a portion of our group was in line and we needed the seats, she did not care. This seemed counterintuitive because we were spending money in the stadium which is beneficial. She made us smush into less seats than we had people. She claimed other patrons couldn’t find seats when there were plenty in front and behind us. When our friends came back they took their seat they initially had which pushed other patrons into the aisle and was not ideal for safety reasons. I think the staff was improperly trained on how to deal with these situations. I did not catch her name but I think they need to be more understanding that people may leave their seat for various reasons. I gave two stars because my interaction with the individual at the concession stand was wonderful. I am skeptical about coming back at least with a large group. If they truly don’t want people leaving their seats from the game start to end they need to invest in a system to deliver food and drinks to seats directly otherwise I’m sure large groups will face this issue...

During Slysa awards night, I had the worst experience of a life time. With record attendance at 10000 people. They had one gate open. People stood outside the gate, not moving for over an hour. People were passing out children and adults no water was allowed upon entry. Once people started passing out, they finally decided It was a good idea to open more gates. Once in you had to find a line to stand in to purchase water over five dollars a bottle that they had to remove all the lids. Therefore, you were not able to walk off with a sealed bottle of water. I tried to take my child water who was located in the team staging area. And they would not let me back to give her any water after she stood at the gate for over an hr in 95+ temps. They provided no water for any of the kids on that side of the stadium. Our Coaches Had to share two bottles of water between the entire team that he had to keep refilling. The Entire shaded side of the stadium was shut off to everyone And families with their kids who were forced to sit in full sun in ninety five plus degree weather. They even had seats locked in the area where people were able to sit. And were told that they were nicer seats And they didn't want kids to damage them. This forced people to sit on the floor or remain standing when they paid for seats. To make matters worse they have removed, blocked and deleted anyone on social media that speaks any negative comments of that day. They are making everyone to believe it was a wonderful night when they dropped the ball for everyone. It was run so poorly and they were incredibly unprepared. But at least they can own up to their mistake and offer an apology to all those people made to suffer that night. Completely ashamed. We can do better...

I went to the Leagues Cup match against Dallas on 7/27. CITY Park itself was pretty nice. The facilities were all clean and well maintained. Everyone I encountered was polite and helpful. It was a little hard to hear the stadium announcer where we were in the Supporter Section though. Maybe some speakers under the covered part would help.

The only major issue I had was when going through one of the cashier-less vendor facilities that use cameras to watch you shop. I picked up one tray of three chicken tenders at Wally’s. When I checked my bank statement days later, I found out I was charged for more than just the chicken tenders.

I called the Wally’s Fenton location to hopefully get some help and was given the contact information of someone at CITY Park who could supposedly help me. I started calling to try and solve this problem on 7/30. Three calls and two messages later, I still hadn’t heard from this person. On Friday (8/2), I received a cryptic text from the number I had been calling with a link to request a refund. When I visited the site, I was only able to see the receipt for what I purchased. There was no place to request a refund. Thankfully now everything has been resolved but it was certainly a hassle to get to this point.

My warning to people is to check your bank accounts after going to one of these cashier-less locations. I am not sure if there are any other types of these places in CITY Park but the Wally’s system is obviously somewhat flawed. If you have more than one or two items, you could end up being charged a lot for things you...

I recently attended a Big Ten event at Energizer Park and was struck by the low attendance. Despite purchasing a ticket for a double header, I only attended one game and left early. While standing alone near the exit, KELLY approached me and asked me to move. Although I understand that she was fulfilling her duties, I was disappointed by her request, particularly since I was not causing any disruptions and was preparing to leave. This interaction did not reflect the level of hospitality I have come to expect from St. Louis City Energizer park. Considering the sparse attendance and the importance of the game, I think it would be more advantageous to focus on encouraging fans to attend and enjoy the event rather than strictly enforcing seating rules. I hope that St. Louis City will strive to provide a more welcoming atmosphere for visitors in the future. On a personal note, I was deterred from returning due to Kelly's unfriendly demeanor. A more gracious approach, such as politely requesting that I relocate due to the absence of roped-off sections, would have been more effective. It was evident that Kelly was exerting her authority, which was unnecessary and particularly noticeable with only four minutes remaining in the game. Regrettably, her behavior marred my experience. Notably, my significant other was the senior referee, and having visited numerous stadiums across the US, I was disappointed to find my hometown of St. Louis unwelcoming. Thank you Kelly!
