St. Louis Union Station Taco Container — Restaurant in St. Louis

Food is surprisingly good and cheap however I have tried to go here 3 separate times and days with minimal luck. First time we showed up half an hour after they opened for it to be shuttered. Thought maybe someone called in or something and would try again another time. Second time we went they were open and food was decent but customer service was non existent, don't think they said one word and took an inordinate amount of time to come out. Third time we show up an hour after they opened and the person inside was still doing prep, filling bottles and getting the meat ready. Stood there for over 5 minutes, they saw me and walked past me many times with zero acknowledgement or gestures as to hang on or how long it would be. Was essentially ignored before we finally just walked away because we had no idea if it would be 5 mins or 30 before they might...

So!! I was in St Louis for a huge conference at the end of July. Accidentally ended up eating at this taco truck simply out of desperation really. Short on time and didn't wanna endure a long wait at other places nearby. It was a tad pricey but my tacos were over flowing. Anyways!! A month and a half later and I can't stop thinking about these tacos!! So full of flavor!! I ordered the Carnitas and Pollo. I was nervous about unique ingredients but....They were beyond excellent!! If it wasn't a 6 hr drive I'd have been back probably more than once. If you figure out how to box them and send them to Kansas...

This was unexpectedly delicious and priced reasonably for the area. It’s a bit of a tourist trap. We had beef, carnitas, & fish tacos. The crispy beef were fire 🔥. The carnitas were juicy but lacked flavor. The fish taco needed a little something extra like watercress or a sturdier helping of slaw to balance the sauce. But it was still pretty good.
