SUPER disappointed in our trip on the Polar Express. My sister went 4 years ago and said it was amazing and we were so excited ride. We attended the ride on November 24th at 8:30pm. We bought seats in the Premium Dome Upper Car. Not at all worth it. Let me repeat. . . NOT AT ALL WORTH IT! First class was just as nice, but honestly after attending, I wouldn't spend the money on those seats either. The entire ride was less than 45 min long. The dancing and singing was basically non existent and when Santa got on the train, it was so rushed and he was only concerned about quickly telling everyone what needed to happen and not being remotely in character and barley interacting with the kids. The young man who was in the skit at the beginning of the engagement was also on our car and was more a menace and distraction than anything. He was sitting in the isle way and bothering the folks that were actually trying to work. We have a similar experience near our home in Ohio (although the train is not as nice) and for $50.00 you receive a 2 hour experience, adequate time with Santa and great engagement with singing and dancing from the staff. Maybe it's because we went later in the evening and it was the last ride of the night, but it was not worth the time or money in my opinion. I would not consider...
Read moreMy kids had a blast! We got the premium dome seats, it was our first and likely only year going but I am still glad we did it! My daughter absolutely adored chef Mary and elf giggles! Despite us being the last ride of a long day for them, they were so kind and so full of energy. They really left an impression on her and I am sure I will continue to hear about how much she misses them!
I do believe the cocoa was made with water but frankly it was the best I have had with water. I have Celiac and the cookie wasnt bad for a gluten free cookie. Santa was great, spending ample time with all the kids. Asking what they wanted and telling them about the North Pole.
Honestly, with it being the last ride of the day, I wasnt expecting the staff to give their greatest performance but it was great! My kids loved the dancing and singing. My daugher loved helping turn the pages of the book when Chef Mary came around and asked the kids if they wanted to help her turn it. My daughter asked if she could read a page and Chef Mary told her she could and complemented her on her reading skills.
The train conductor was great, my kids were so excited about each design he put in the tickets!
Overall, yes the premium dome seats are more expensive but my kids had a great time that they will remember for...
Read moreI booked a hotel package for the polar express back on September 30th through your website. I clicked on hotel packages and chose the highest one which in turn lead me to the hotel Website I booked my rooms and thought I am done. I have called a couple of times Because I was worried about whether or not it was booked correctly. I was told if it took me to the hotel website I did it correctly and I would have tickets they are emailed a week prior. I called again because I hadn’t received them and I was then told to go to the ticket counter at the train ride. Well tonight I checked into our hotel, I had 4 rooms. Went to the ticket confer and they said I didn’t have tickets. I went yo the hotel lobby and talked to the manager and he stated that when I booked the tickets your website was not talking to the hotel Website correctly and a lot of people had issues. Therefore I was not booked for your polar express ride. Seriously?????? I booked this almost 3 months ago, no email, no phone call, nothing only two disappointed children they weren’t n fact going on the train ride to see Santa. I am very disappointed and would Never ever again book anything for this polar express ride ever again!! Horrible thing to do to someone who planned and made several calls to check...
