I purchased organic dried figs and chocolate covered almonds here. Both originated from a local company who sells in bulk to Earthlight. I was eating a fig and bit down into a hard grainy substance that turned out to be glass. I took pictures with my lab microscope to validate it as glass and sent them to the main company. I went to return both products to Earthlight with the glass taped to the top of the container and because I didn’t have my receipt they wouldn’t give me all my money back and instead discounted the return for lack of proof of purchase. Their logo is on the front of the packaging and I go here often. Aside from that there was GLASS in the product you sold me Earthlight! They should practice better business with repeat customers and do right by them. They are a unique health food store and the only one in this area so this will be unfortunate but I will not be...
Read moreI wanted to buy tea 5 different teas from the jar. Asked woman for help. She said the teas are there. I looked was overwhelming asked is there someone that could help me. She says they are in alphabetical order. I couldn’t find the tea. Didn’t want to go back to her again. she obviously didn’t want to help. I asked twice. Got bad vibes wasn’t about to ask again. Just saying I went in wanting to buy. I left with with the impression that she didn’t want me as a customer. All I did was ask for help. I told my story to a friend. My friend said that she don’t go shopping there anymore because they are racist. A couple more friends said the same. I agree that’s the vibe I got in the store . I won’t there again. I don’t want them getting any of my money. I was just a customer, I wasn’t rude. I just asked for help twice. I just wanted tea. I feel obligated to give...
Read moreI shopped here exclusively when organic goods were not readily available in this area. I support local business but not when they charge, for example… $10 for bread and find it's now, at a newer grocery store with a larger and fresher variety of organic choices, for $2! A $2 lip balm for $7. A $2 hand sanitizer for $5 and so on. The produce looks horrible or rotten. Their dry goods are OUTRAGEOUSLY over priced! To me, that's taking advantage of the market. They are somewhat knowledgeable but when I called for recommendations of supplements (a service they advertise) no one returns your call. If they cleaned up the place, reassessed market values against competitors, supply more education and better distributers of produce then maybe a chance. I would solely shop here but fair is fair. An $5 + upcharge on every...
