Absolutely terrible experience dealing with these people. I just recently moved to Miami, and have a large dog. Intra coastal yacht club was one of the only building I could find on the water that allowed large pets. Nonetheless I was drawn in by the 500$ deposit and 1 month rent free. The tour made the place seem elegant and amazing and we fell in love with the location. NOW starts the headache. we were told the apartment was $1,495 a month with a $500 deposit. The apartment was suppose to be on the 16th floor, including granite counter tops and tile floors. I did my application(april 5th) and was promised I could move in on April 15th. The leasing dept told me it was a 24 hr approval. I tried calling for 5 days and finally went there in person. only to find out that the girl with my paperwork got fired the day after I applied. Nobody had the common courtesy to call. I spoke with another woman Debbie and explained her my situation that I NEED to move by the 15th. She said she would call me the next day 1st thing in morning- and no surprise she never called. ( they always seem to be very busy or at lunch) I went agian in person (this is the only way to speak with these people) Debbie advises me that my application has been approved but with 1 month rent deposit instead of the 500$. When I asked why she said it was because of my credit,,,even though I have a 720 SCORE. AND I never authorized them to run my credit! It gets better from here. Now I am leaving a larger deposit of $1495+300 admi fee+500 pet fee+150 app fee and I cant move in on the 15th because the apartment still wasnt vacant. So I am promised the 27th I can move in. OH and the apartment DOESNT have the granite counter tops and tile floors- but they want me to leave a bigger deposit and pay the same rent. Debbie never bothered to call to set up my move in, or tell me how much deposit I owe. The tenants living in the apartment were suppose to move on the 21st and on the 24th they were still there. So finally after hearing a long line of broken promises, I decided to go to my 2nd choice apartment. It was a larger apartment for a better price with more ammenities. The whole process took less than 24 hours to get approved and sign a lease. I called Debbie to tell her and she told me WOW I cant belive you cancelled your unbeliveable. She told me I cant get my deposit back of $500 that I initally left on the 5th of April. I told her I WILL get my deposit back since I was continually lied to and given the run around, and that they were at no loss- the apartment I was suppose to rent is still occupied and wasnt vacant. What a way to treat a prospective tenant! She told me her manager would call to discuss giving my deposit back- one week later still havent heard anything! I could not be more disgusted with the lack of professionalism and respect these people have. If they are going to advertise 5 star rentals , I expect to be treated by those standards! In a nutshell- horrid customer service- apartment is small and very plain(unless you pay 150 more a month for modern appliances)- and a total headache! Not worth it! So glad I didnt move in to...

Intracoastal: This place is an absolute hell, the worst I ever lived at. They run it illegally with bunch of uneducated and unprofessional so called office employees. Nobody speaks English in the office. They take bribes right and left. I lived there since summer and was officially registered with a possession of resort pass and fob as a key to the unit. They saw me every day going to work and waiting on Uber. I had to translate and assist former Roomate while getting new apartment, we were escorted and given a tour and had multiple conversations with office on a daily basis. One day my fob stopped working and I went to the office to see why. Office manager grabbed my resort pass and fob out of my hands and run back into the office. She called police to have me arrested for trespassing that I didn’t do. I really want to know what was her motive behind it. January 25th was the worst day of my life there. Office manager is a walking criminal who lied to police about everything and had them arrest me and put in jail for a month. They took my dog to a shelter. We both almost died from heart attack and separation anxiety since we never been apart. I lost my job and my life for a month. Office also throw away all of my stuff in trash that is worth 100000$. All my life - my family valuables, religious attributes, family pictures, Jewerly, glasses and contacts that are necessary for everyday use, my clothing and make up, tv, my tax forms and parcels, my medication, documents etc. When I got out of jail totally damaged psychologically and emotionally and physically I went to look for my dog who they gave out for adoption. I never cried so much in my life I was devastated. Thank god I was able to get him back. When I went to pick up my stuff and called police escort as instructed by sunny isles beach police department the same office lady first said that my roommate has my stuff and afterwords she said that she throw it out to trash which is against the law? since they had to keep it for a month and I got back after 22 days. Police officers called me a criminal and treated me like a trash. As an American citizen who grew up in this country and got my citizenship in miami 10 years ago it broke my heart. Sunny isles beach PD is the worst unprofessional and unqualified ever. They threatened to arrest me again and told me to leave. What a disgrace and shame. They all took advantage of their job title and acted like a mafia. God sees everything. You will remember for the rest of your life how much of evils you all are. This yacht club is a joke. They rent illegally and sublease all the units as long as you pay them triple price. Every tenant runs a hostel there. If they arrested me for trespassing while being legally registered and having a key fob along with all documentation, can you imagine what else are they...

So here’s an accurate review, you can ask anyone who lives here and they will agree with you 1000%

Let’s start with security guards.. they aren’t security, they are “courtesy officers” which means they don’t do nothing except observe and do paper report, in this building case they sleep at night in their vehicles or watch movies at the gate (not all of them do that), but they don’t call the resident to let them know they have a guest and pretty much most of the time they let anybody inside the property without checking their ID, they don’t even check where the guest is going, this is why everybody smokes weed and drinks everywhere, there’s bottles, cans, even weed roles with cocaine bags at the car parking lot, pool area, kids park, boat parking or the stairs. Why my kids have to witness such an awful act by people that come here to party.

If you have a bike it might get stolen because people jump over the fence and cameras don’t really work, and no one is responsible for that and of course no one saw anything. Managment don’t care about your problems, they always busy, is difficult to get in touch with them when there’s an issue. There’s always loud music, noises or even loud people every single freaking day and in this case i always have to call sunny Isles police, once again the guards on duty don’t do their job, another reason why is because they live here (not all of them) so they become friends with residents and of course you don’t want to make a paper report on someone that you know. Before this place was a 3 star, never ever it was a 5 star. Now with Airbnb rentals became 1 star because people that come here for two weeks or even few days they don’t care about this property, they here to party and to enjoy the Miami life style.

You wondering why I’m writing this, I’ll explain. Is so people with family’s or kids don’t move here and don’t spent a penny at this property. Every year rent gets more expensive even if you are a pretty old resident. 1900$ for one bedroom apartment is a joke. So it’s simple, if you wanna party for couple of days and do whatever you want this is the perfect place because no one will bother you except the residents that are trying to sleep, but if you wanna live here I do not recommend this place. All 3 buildings are the same pretty much, and as far as for dog poops, they are everywhere including the kids park. Definitely don’t wanna take...

I've lived in this building for six years. The location is 10 out of 10. The management is excellent. Any inspection issues are resolved quickly. Residents are treated with care and warmth. Free events for every resident during holidays. Welcome home!

I have been living here close to eight years now. I have never lived in the same place for more than two years for one reason or another. I have to say this place has truly become home. The location and the view are second to none. I must give praise to a few people that have really made a difference. Let's start with maintenance. Since Oreste Garcia started as the maintenance manager he has made living here and absolute pleasure. He quickly address a issue and makes sure repairs are done in a precise and timely manner. He is always friendly and he enjoys and takes pride in his job and it shows. Thank you Oreste as you are one of the reasons I have still live here. Valet: Hats off to Ray!! He has been such a help to us whenever we need help with groceries etc. He is like family and he makes sure that we are taken care of whenever we need assistance. He always greets us and our guest with a smile. He makes sure they know where to go and answers their questions. Others in the courtesy dept. should follow his lead starting at the gate. JC thank you for your genuine concern and professionalism. I am looking forward to seeing the changes. Concierge: Well, I must say I didn't think the shoes of our last concierge person could be filled but, I must say Tony is a great fit for the job. It was frustrating and touch and go for a minute with others. I must say Tony is a delight. Never a hassle just a smile and service. THANK YOU! I am pleased with the new management and I definitely see some good changes. I am looking forward to seeing what develops but, so far, so good. This may end up being 5 star living again. I travel a lot but I must say...there's no place like home!
