From the very start it was a horrible experience, the first day I was only 3 mins late "they wanted me to have the maximum amount of time to shop" after waiting over a month for the appointment they made me reschedule... Then when I went there they rush you thru and the selection was very slim and for paying how much I did it wasn't very satisfying ,then when they came to deliver they told me not till 11 they came at 9:47 when I was in the shower and told me they wanted 125 bucks to come back!!! So I called and tried explaining that I didn't have the money for that and argued with them all they cared about was the best he money wouldn't budge or compromise at all so I told the lady on the phone I've been sleeping on the floor for almost two months so I had a buddy that had a truck and was willing to come get the beds and I'd come back in a couple days to get the rest if it, so when I got there after I got the beds loaded she tells me I can't come back I only got one chance one trip so I had to leave everything else . they should have made that clear on the phone so I would have planned it better so I paid over 200 bucks for nothing but a head ache the staff was very rude and disrespectful I Feel like they enjoyed making it harder for me they had no mercy or understanding and all they seemed to care about was the money! there was only one guy there that seemed to care or actually help he was very respectful Jo Jo he was nice but I would never refer anyone there ever again it was just awful and...

She gave us 5 minutes to come up with 100 dollars and a moving truck or she will need to remove us from the list and we will no longer be able to have a turn of selection my family member had an appointment august 4th at 10 am she called us today 06/27/2023 stating ā100 dollars before we can even talk and Iāll call you back to see if you came up with 100 dollarsā I was in distraught due to the fact we had no money and really needed the furniture. Please Sandra if you could have a better attitude when dealing with people who are already having a hard time with their living situation be a little more helpful and not just making the company seem like itās money hungry. My family member has been on the floor for months and In and out of the doctors due to the swelling in their legs and missed the only opportunity they had to get this done and have at least a couch to lay on. It truly hurts to see that this non profit organization gives people like us who have a hard enough time coming up with money 5 minutes to come up with 100 dollars. Once again I really thought we had something this time. Due to Sandra rudeness and rush off the phone I could not even ask where else she can direct us to or how to get back on the list. Ā Ā Ā Read moreBEWARE DONT DO IT!! We recently had a disappointing experience with a furniture assistance program that claimed to help those in need. After paying $100 for a voucher and $150 to rent a truck, I was shocked by the poor quality of the furniture. Most items looked old, dingy, and like they hadn't been properly cleaned. My daughter even broke out in a rash after using them.
What was even more disheartening was when we went upstairs and saw their high-end, vintage items for sale at steep prices. It seemed like they were cherry-picking the best donations for resale and giving away the leftovers to those in need. I'm sharing this because I don't want others to go through the same disappointment, especially those who are really in need.
I'd love to see this program truly do what it says it does ā help people in need without taking advantage of them. I wish someone would look into this and make sure the program is genuinely supporting those it claims to. I'd love to see people get the help they deserve, and I hope that by sharing my experience, we as a community can work together to find better solutions for those who need it most. Itād be nice if weād be able to get our money back. Oh yeah, one more thing the beds are not included. You have to pay for those just like you pay for everything else. The staff was very, very nice.
