READ THE FULL REVIEW, PLEASE!!! Great service. Awesome fitting process. Friendly staff. Helpful staff. Knowledgeable staff. THIS IS WHAT I USED TO SAY ABOUT YOUR COMPANY.
NOW........................... after my last visit on this past Sunday, at 3pm, I have told my fellow runners and health enthusiasts, "Avoid at all costs, perhaps they are now too big. I had allotted 45 minutes to obtain several new replacement pairs of Mizuno's that I had previously purchased, in the $125 range. I had $500 budgeted and thought, without a qualm, that I could get in and out of your store within that time frame. Instead I was met with "clerks" (non-athletic 'paper pushers') who were just doing time until the store closed. Your staff has a 'jail mentality'...........NEVER FREQUENT THIS STORE IF YOU WANT SERVICE", is now what I say!!
So, here I am with $500 to spend at your store and I cannot even get a single "clerk" to assist me. My money walked out of your store and now I am devoted to shopping online and spreading the Gospel of, "My God, don't go there............ nobody will even acknowledge you!!!!" about your store. Go shop online or go elsewhere. That is now my advice.
In my 45 minutes in your store I approached 5 people and asked for assistance - not a single one assisted me. I even stood at the entrance to your stock room and no one asked me if I needed help. I had to ask them. I was met with "someone will be with you" on 5 occasions. One of these folks I did follow up with and I asked to speak to the manager. I was told, "There is no manager here right now." After probing more deeply, I found that this "girl" was the "acting manager", but again I was told, "someone will be with you shortly." She had a "deer in the headlights of an 18 wheeler" look on her face. I stood in your store for 45 minutes, waiting to spend $500, and the "acting manager" would not even acknowledge her position until pressed! This is one hell of a way to run a store!!! A frivolous attitude and not even acknowledging that she is managing the store!!! WOW!!!!! 3pm this past Sunday, in YOUR store, this is what I was met with!!!! WOW!!
This situation is pretty much un-redeemable. I don't think I will ever darken the door of your store since this experience has soured me to your customer experience. It was pathetic. Had I been thinking a certain way, I would have taped it on my smart phone and posted it to youtube with the headline, "This is why I will never set foot in Fit2run again!!!"
So, please be aware, for the health of your own career, that this is what is happening when you are not in the store. Nobody will acknowledge being the manager, customer service will be non-existent, prior customers will become very disgruntled, and you will have multiple customers with $500 or $500+ who will find another place to shop. This is exactly where I reside. I wish you best of luck with your current staff...............something tells me that is what you will need. The market crushes the weak and non customer service oriented businesses........... that is what I believe...
Read moreThis place was great. I was in a serious car accident a few years ago and have a lot of neck, back, hip, knee, and ankle pain from nerve and soft tissue damage. I was spending a fortune buying different shoes looking for something to help with my knee back and ankle pain while running. This store was recommended to me by a friend to try to find the right shoes but the personalized fitting and extra care lead me to believe shoes would be more expensive there. I decided to go in and check it out and to my suprise the shoes were no more expensive than any other shoe store. They measured the pressure of my stance, my arches, my gait, my foot size, and maybe some other things I can't remember then brought me a few different shoes they thought would be comfortable for me and help with my pain. They let me try all of them on and run around a small track in the store. I'm happy to say I've finally got a pair of running shoes that don't cause me pain. I look forward to my daily run more than I ever have. They even have a rewards program for one low yearly cost (I believe it was about $30 if I remember correctly) that allows me to bring back any shoes I purchase within 30 days if they aren't working. I thought this would be great in my situation because I've ended up with so many shoes that I've run in then found the wouldn't work out. Surprisingly to me I didn't need to take the shoes back but luckily the programs also entitles you to in store discounts for the year too so I still feel it was worth it. I would highly recommend that anyone who runs or even just goes walking get their shoes here but especially if you have chronic...
Read moreSummary: terrible customer service, uninformed or inexperienced staff members, not knowledgeable about the products that they sell, and over reliance on the machine to help guide them, to the detriment of common sense.
I walked in and asked for help with the purchase of new shoes. I told the young man that I had issues with over pronation when I run. He had me stand on their machine and then looked me blank in the face and said, it says here that you don’t overpronate. I’ve been going to podiatrists for years, so it was very fresh to have a young kid who may still be in college telling me what my foot does or doesn’t do functionally, even if structurally it doesn’t seem like it would. I proceeded to inform me that functionally when I run that is what it does, so he got me someone else.
He had me stand on the machine again. Told me my shoe size is 9.5-10 even though I told him I’m a 9. The shoes he brought me didn’t fit. I waited like 15 minutes for him to come back but he was already helping other customers on the machine. Asked a young lady for help. She asked if someone was already helping me, and told me she would call him back. He came back and I told him that the shoes didn’t fit. Strange, he says, the machine says you’re a 10. He brought me more shoes, a 9.5 and again these didn’t fit. But he didn’t stick around for me to tell him they didn’t fit, was already off back to the machines and talking to other customers.
I walked out. I had been there for 30 minutes at that point and had spent most of that time waiting. Never again going to this shoe store again, what...
