An unforgettable team experience — beyond five stars. Our team recently had the joy of taking a cooking class with Santhoshi, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From the very beginning, Santhoshi was incredibly generous and collaborative. I came to her with an unusual request — a nontraditional format where our team would split up to cook multiple dishes across different cuisines, then come together for a shared, family-style dinner. This is not something she typically offers, but she made a rare and thoughtful exception. She leaned all the way in — because she sensed how much it meant to me, and because she genuinely loves creating meaningful experiences for people. Working with her to shape this vision was a joy. And on the day of, everything came to life beautifully. The kitchen was lively and full of motion — we made roti, butter chicken, chicken korma, samosas, tzatziki, Mediterranean kebabs, chicken satay, pad thai, and more — yet somehow, it all felt calm, smooth, and completely under control. That’s the magic of Santhoshi. She’s an exceptional teacher: clear, patient, thoughtful, and so organized that even with many moving parts, nothing felt chaotic. Just deeply fun. She added such personal touches — candles, music, aprons, and a photo booth setup — that made it feel festive and intimate. She was also incredibly accommodating, even when we had a last-minute change. But what truly stood out was her heart. She welcomed our questions not just about the food but about Indian culture and her story — and she shared generously. Her reflections on cooking as her ikigai (life’s purpose) moved us deeply. She reminded us that joy and fulfillment can be found both in our work and in the side paths we pursue. It elevated the whole night into something more meaningful than just a class. While I know this format was a one-time stretch, I’ll absolutely be returning for one of her signature classes in the traditional format. She’s built something special — and if you’re lucky enough to take a class with her, you’ll feel it. Run, don’t walk.

An incredible experience! This cooking class was given to me as a birthday present from my son! It was OUTSTANDING ! Santhoshi is an excellent chef and teacher. We learned the art of Indian cooking, by preparing our own meal with the 5 basic She even helped us brush up on our knife skills. It was so much more than a cooking class. It was a cultural emersion! Santohoshi is so warm and her love of teaching shines through! TOTALLY worth the short drive from Charlotte!

This is a great environment to learn how to cook certain Indian dishes, Santhoshi is very knowledgeable and shares her skills and cooking with you. It’s not bad that you get to dine on everything you make during the class. I highly recommend 10 out of 10!!!!

OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE! I had the pleasure of meeting Santhoshi during a private cooking lesson with my brother and sister-in-law. We chose to cook chicken tikka masala, samosas and roti. Santhoshi is passionate about cooking and teaching others how to make Indian food. Her recipes are outstanding, a robust combination of spices and ingredients to produce sensational flavors that please the palate. Each dish was made with high quality and the freshest ingredients. Although the recipes we made was for 4 servings, you could easily feed 8. Be prepared to take home leftovers for an additional meal or two. After eating authentic Indian food, you won’t want to eat at Indian restaurants as the food just doesn’t taste the same. Not only was this a cooking lesson, but also a cultural experience as Santhoshi freely shared about Indian culture, traditions and history. She encouraged us to ask questions and was more then happy to answer each one. We shared lots of laughter and a heartwarming meal. I would highly recommend anyone in the surrounding Charlotte area to take a private cooking class from Santhoshi. A must do and 5 star experience. I look forward to my next visit to Charlotte and another cooking class....

I cannot say enough AMAZING things about Santoshi!!!!! Her classes go far above and beyond cuisine; from the moment you step into her beautiful home, you are transported into a completely authentic cultural and gastronomical space.

Santoshi’s love of cooking and intuitive ways show in every unique recipe she shares, all while allowing you to do everything hands-on! As a client, you get to choose the recipes you’d like to make, all which result in very generous portions and an explosion of flavors!

Today was my second class with her and Santoshi showed that she is a true chef and an expert in her field. She provided me with so many cooking tips and explained the heritage behind each of the dishes on the menu. She even taught me how to say each dish in Tamil!

Santoshi’s classes are incredibly personalized and she is a true delight! If you want to experience the beauty of authentic Indian cuisine, look no further… you will forever cherish your time in her kitchen.

Thank you for...
