Triveni Supermarket — Local services in Tega Cay

My first visit to the new Triveni Superstore in Fort Mill today left a lot to be desired, specifically regarding their food court. I went a few hours ago, hoping to pick up a non-veg appetizer for the weekend. First, I immediately noticed that the prices for most food court items seemed to have been significantly bumped up compared to the Triveni location in Pineville, which was a bit off-putting. To add to the disappointment, my usual go-to tandoori appetizer was completely missing from the menu. With no other choice, I ordered the Chicken 65, and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes, which was fine. However, the real issues began when I got home. The quality was genuinely astonishingly poor. The chicken was clearly not cooked properly – it was undercooked. On top of that, the spice level was so incredibly high it brought tears to my eyes; even adding yogurt couldn't neutralize the intense heat. It was truly a horrible experience. While the food court itself appears big and spacious, the layout is quite chaotic. There were chairs scattered all around, making it feel disorganized rather than welcoming. I haven't had a chance to explore the grocery section yet, so I can't comment on that. But based on my non-veg appetizer experience today, the food court needs major improvements in terms of quality, consistency, and pricing, as well as its general arrangement. I hope they address these...

Honestly, I was quite excited when Triveni opened this new store in Fort Mill. The place is big, neat, and has almost everything we usually look for - Indian groceries, veggies, meat, snacks, and even a food court. For a moment, it really felt like this could become our regular weekend grocery stop.

But that excitement didn’t last long once I saw the prices. Almost everything is priced higher than what we pay at Patel Brothers or even Triveni Pineville. These are not small differences - for regular Indian families who buy weekly groceries, these price gaps actually matter a lot. We all know grocery bills are already going up, and paying extra here for the same things just doesn’t make sense.

Even the food court has become expensive compared to Pineville, and a few items were missing too. It honestly feels like they’re charging a “new store premium,” which is not fair. Many others have already pointed this out in reviews, so this isn’t just my personal experience - it’s clearly a common problem.

We don’t mind driving a bit further if it means saving on our monthly groceries. So unless they fix this pricing issue, I’ll prefer going to Pineville or Patel Brothers like before. It’s disappointing because the store itself is good - they just need to make the prices reasonable. If they match Pineville rates, this place can easily become a top pick for all of us in the Fort Mill / South...

I have recently ordered party catering from Triveni's T's Indian kitchen, and it exceeded all our expectations! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented – every dish tasted just as amazing as if it had been served in the restaurant. Guests especially loved their Fish fry, which quickly became the highlight of the starters spread.

What truly stood out was the service. Kumar & team was very punctual, professional, and went the extra mile to make sure everything was seamless. From placing the order to delivery and setup, the process was effortless and stress-free.

Also, the I have ordered a special Cake and it was beyond perfect! The design was stunning, exactly as we imagined, and the attention to detail made it the centerpiece of the celebration. The cake wasn’t just beautiful – it tasted incredible too. Soft, moist layers with the right balance of sweetness, and the flavors were spot on.

Everyone at the party couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it was. A big thanks to pastry chef "Arun" for putting so much care and creativity into the cake. You truly made the birthday extra special, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
