Brookfiled properties is turning this mall into a ghost town. Over the past several years, this mall has changed from a destination to the "last resort if needed" shopping experience. Many big name stores are gone. Disney store has left. Not exactly smart business to keep raising lease rent when you want people to shop in store, ergo keep the mall occupancy up. Theres nothing like going to a mall and seing sloppy empty storefronts that should be covered and not hearing any light music to encourage a positive shopping experience. No this mall was silent, exceot for the continuous wail of a toddler. A good 1/4 of the store fronts are empty, and another 1/4 are swap meet cheap stores that seem to be acting as "filler" but I cannot imagine adults purchasing gifts or spending any money in these places. The addition to the mall outside of Cheesecake Factory is apparently not going to happen, because that was supposed t have begun by now. Speaking of Cheesecake Factory, this one needs a dress code.Looking like you just rolled out of bed, in sweats and dirty flip flops, is not what I want to see when I go spend $75 to eat dinner.

This mall should have become Temecula's version of Fashion Valley in San Diego. The potential WAS there. No longer. New executive management and/or new ownership is needed, or this mall will become like Tyler Galleria in riverside or worse, Carousel in San Bernardino. There are some stores that seem to be fine, but many look like they are hanging on just hoping Christmas spending will help them....

OVERVIEW: This is one of the primary shopping malls of this area. It is 2 stories high and has an okay exterior plaza area.

EXPERIENCE: A lot of my friends go there to walk &talk, shop (obviously), and eat. We celebrated some birthdays there to.

ENTERTAINMENT There is a MOVIE THEATER [Edwards Cinema] right outside in the frontal plaza area where the water fountains are with a lot of restfurniture. (Prices are meh) There is also an ARCADE [Round One] that i belive was a very nice addition to the mall.

FOOD & DRINKS The Food Court serves a few different take-outs that I all think are good. The surrounding restaurants in the plaza area are also very good.

Resturants: California Pizza Kitchen, Lucille's Barbecue, Cheesecake Factory, Panda Express, & other places.

We have Lazy dog for the people who like eating with their dogs. [You can order them something] I wish they would add a boba place there.

SHOP VARIETY There are shops there for almost everyone. There are a few barber places in the mall as well as shops of where you can buy suits, or get your watch fixed, or even buy even bridal dresses. We have mixed purpose stores and a lot other shops that serve other purposes.

HOW IT'S HANDLING COVID Due to Covid, masks must be worn in shops at almost all times unless alone. There also are store capacities of how many people are allowed in so there might be wait lines on your way to your favorite store. Some stores may be closed for the time being, so do not be frustrated if your favorite...
