My family almost walked out before we even got into the room! There was only one employee at the check-in desk and she was already helping another customer. I waited for what felt like forever to get checked-in, and then when it was my turn, I was told that I had to go online and sign waivers for all 6 members of my family. I was completely unaware of the waivers, but it would've been nice for them to send out an email one or two days prior to our reservation date - telling us that we had to sign waivers ahead of time - in order to save time when we get there! So then I had to sit down and struggle with the crappy phone service - only to resort to logging on to their WiFi so that I could successfully sign waivers for everyone online. The entire process felt like it took way too long. We were instructed to show up 15 minutes prior to the stated start time - which we did, but after the long wait in line, and then the long process of signing everyone in, we didn't even get into the room until about 10 minutes past our start time. Not a big deal if you don't have anything planned afterwards, but of course we did - so we were unfortunately late. And then there was the noise. When we arrived, we couldn't help but notice that there was a birthday party being celebrated in the room next door. There was loud music and about a dozen loud pre-teen girls all celebrating in the room with the door wide open. It was so loud that I could barely hear and understand what the employee was saying to me while checking in. Having the wherewithal by an employee to simply close the door to cut down on some of the noise would've been nice. So, because of the long wait and the loud noise, my family and I almost walked out... but after going through the escape room, we were definitely glad we didn't. The actual escape room experience was really fun, but challenging. It was quite difficult in the beginning - as we had no clue how to begin or get any of the clues... but after about 10 minutes we finally figured it out and got the ball rolling. We did once upon a time with some visiting family today (7 of us total). The room was well done and creative, however our game got messed up. Our game master was giving us clues to puzzles we already solved and then we got stuck for awhile because they setup the game wrong. They switched up the padlocks on some boxes so we didn't have access to the clues to solve them and it took a while for the game master to realize it.. when he did, he had to give us the answer so we could continue so we never got to even try to solve the actual puzzle. They gave us an extra 20 minutes for the mix up but at that point, we were all kinda over it and really confused on what was "dead" and was in play since we had to skip a puzzle. We all left feeling alittle gipped and I felt like I overpaid given that the issues were out of our control and greatly affected the overall game (we paid $240 for our group). We weren't offered a discount or anything other than the additional 20 minutes. Im giving it 3 stars cuz the room has alot of potential and could have been really fun had the gamemaster given clues correctly and the room was setup right.

3/31/24 Update: I'm upgrading my rating to 4 stars for the outstanding customer service I've recently received. Although there were some issues with our visit, the management team quickly responded to my review and wanted to make it right. I can't say enough how impressed I am with the very thoughtful and extremely genuine emails I've exchanged with Olivia at red door.
