Relax Zone Massage — Attraction in Temecula

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I called yesterday to book a 1 hr Swedish massage which is $75 on their site and in their lobby. I requested specifically to have my shoulders, neck, head and face focused for the hour as I have pain from TMJ and grinding. They said absolutely and got me in next morning which was wonderful. They told me it would be $85 which I didn't understand why I was being charged and extra $10 but okay.

I came in this morning and expected to pay after the massage as that's typical practice but here you pay up front - weird but again, I said okay.

I reiterated what I wanted to the woman who took me back and to the man doing my massage and mentioned it several times throughout my massage. Then he tells me "all finished" and I ask him what he means. Then I have 3 people come into my room arguing with me over what I asked for vs what was done.

Apparently the two people I worked with did not understand English but regardless the owner told me she gave them the notes. Horrible business practice and customer service when I asked for a 50% refund because they only did 50% of what I asked for and I reiterated what I wanted several times. The owner offered me $10 back and I told her no and reiterated my stance. I got $25 but this is the last time I ever come here again which is a shame since I've been here several times in the past with my husband and I.

As someone in management it is appalling to see the lack of accountability from the owner for what happened and having to fight with her over what was right or not.

I'm upset because I still didn't get what I asked for and my pain is still present as we only worked on my shoulders for an hour so I have to find another spot to go to and pay twice for what I already paid for.

Probably the worst experience I've had with a business in years. I bought a massage for my wife here. I called and made an appointment and requested a male masseuse. I was told that would be fine. My wife goes at her appointment time and is literally ignored for 5 minutes after walking in. She then has to wait another 20 minutes past the appointment time until she is brought back. She is given a female masseuse in a room that isn't where they normally do massages on a weird low bed. She is told all of this matter of factly. Her masseuse then proceeds to give her a massage without any communication about what she wants. My wife has to ask her to stop somethings because she never asked. The masseuse even straddled her at one point. Another employee walked in at one point briefly. When my wife asked about her feet getting massaged, she is told that she needed to buy a combo massage for that. To the masseuse's credit she does massage her feet anyway. When done with this, my wife goes to the front and is going to tip. Because of the low quality of service she was tipping less than the recommended amount. The masseuse LITERALLY spit behind my wife's back after my wife handed her the tip. This is completely unacceptable. I want an apology and a refund. This place is seedy and clearly has no business serving any customers until they clean...

I came in today in the afternoon around 12:30 pm and had my very first prenatal massage that my husband suprised me with. On the phone, my husband was told it would be a combination of swedish and a deep tissue massage. I've had massages like that before so understood I was in for a treat to relieve my shoulder and neck pain considering I'm 34 weeks pregnant. I was greeted nicely and was directed to the room where the massage would take place. However, before I could lay on the bed, my masseuse had knocked and was entering in without me consenting I was ready. The entire massage she just rubbed very lightly my shoulders and back and hips. Her English was a bit broken so it was hard for me to understand what she wanted me to do. She asked how the pressure was and I asked her to put more pressure in the shoulders which she did for about a minute or so and continued to just rub lightly. When she wanted me to turn on the other side, it was less pressure that the precious side and a much shorter time spent. I was highly disappointed considering my husband surprised me, this was my first ever prenatal massage, and that I had high expectations considering the...
