Rooms are nice but service is pretty much nonexistent for extended stays. They say they only do room service once a week, which I'm kinda fine with but it seems they intentionally have that one day be the same day you check in or the next. I overheard another couple checking in and they told them their cleaning day was that day, meaning their entire stay they would get no room service. You end up going your entire stay with no service. The very least they can do is offer clean towels so you don't have to go all the way to the lobby to exchange for new ones. I've seen them cleaning on my floor on days that I was not due for service, so it wouldn't be hard to at least offer me clean towels. I called for a late checkout as I was out running last minute errands and they told me it would be $40 for a late check out past 1130a and I would have until 3p until I would be charged for the entire day. They called me be back after 1130a and when I repeated the previous price of $40 they said it was $45. I got there at about 1203p and asked if I could just grab my stuff real quick. The man at the front desk redid my keycard and said it will only work once, so I'm thinking he's doing me a solid. So I gathered my stuff and was out the room about 13mintes later. Turns out I was charge $49.51 for the late checkout. If I would have known that I would have taken my time and relaxed a bit instead of rushing out, and since he was charging me the keycard should have worked until 3p since that's what I paid for. The people working the front desk aren't very friendly and welcoming either. Only time I got that was from the worker that did my initial checkin, wish I knew her name. And they need dish soap. They don't have enough dishes to fill even half the dishwasher and who wants to run the dishwasher when you just want to wash a bowl and spoon... And the motion sensor timing needs to be extended so I don't have to wave my arms every 10mins or so to turn the lights back on when I'm relaxing watching a movie or playing my game. Also, the AC kept making a loud humming noise which kept waking me up every morning and when I called the front desk they said someone is coming. After an hour someone finally shows up. He says they've been having the same problem in other rooms, proceeds to simply observe then says the front desk will call before he comes back then leaves. No update and the humming continued. Like I said...
Read moreWow, I mean if this place is new then they definitely have room to grow. When we first checked in, the gal at the front was being trained. At NO point were we told where our room is, where to park, wifi info, facility info, ect. Then I told the lady I have my service dog with me, and all she said was that's fine. It was one piece of paper, so we go to our room, my spouse goes to try to shower, the shower head is broken, the nob doesn't work, there's no hot water, so he goes back down, they said they'd send someone to the room, someone Checked to ensure we weren't crazy? So we get re roomed to a room that was next to their break room and work room. So it sounded like someone was trying to enter your room every 5 min. Then we checked the shower all good, I went to get ice and was told the fridge in each room has ice just pull the lever down 😑 so now I gotta wait for ice to be made....their fitness room was small. Quaint, 3 cardio machines a small rack of weights. Not bad gets the job done. Then back to the room, we don't have a blanket. The dish washer didn't run correctly from whoever stayed before us room cleaners? Then wr leave and come back and our key doesn't work so we gotta go to the front and the manager I presume caught an employee mistake and decided to inactive our room key to have to go the front vs calling the guest! Then the matresses, they are so firm, and the pillows are the ones where you lay and the stuffing goes to both sides so your basically sleeping your head on the matress. So our stay was 2 nights, the area does gave a little walk to a dead end where there is grass for the dogs. On Day 2 I asked why the ice machine hasn't produced any ice, speechless the manager was, simply said she'll put it on the list for maintenance, and that there's no other way of solving the problem. It's only 8 min from old town and 25 from the wineries, location not bad, a mall center...
Read moreWe were looking for a suite with 2 queen beds and a bathtub as our disabled daughter cannot use showers. After scouring the web we found Everhome in Temecula. The price was reasonable and they showed they did indeed have a suite with 2 queen beds and a bath tub. Perfect. So after booking the room and then arriving at the location I explained to the desk clerk that we have a disabled daughter and sometimes she can get a bit loud so is there a room that is away from others so we don't disturb anyone. He said the room we have will be just fine. After getting the keys we we went up to the room and found that the room did not have a bath tub so I went to the front desk and let them know. I thought it was just an honest mistake but as it turns out the desk clerk told me that the website shows suites like that with bath tubs but they are other locations and they don't have one here so we could not change rooms. After talking it over with the wife we determined that maybe we could make it work. Well, because the room are all tile floors they echo and as I was worried we did indeed get a noise complaint.
We travel a lot due to our daughter's medical needs so we always are aware of making sure we do not cause issues or disturb neighbors. On this occasion it was minimal and to still get a complaint really irked me. We just walked in the door and was getting everything put away and someone complained. That on top of the unhelpful false advertising and lack of staff care makes me have to give a negative review. And we still have 2 nights left here. Going to have to walk around on tip toes.
I do not recommend this place, Especially if you have kids. Oh and if you like hot...
