We make the round trip from our home in the San Francisco Bay area to our home in Baja Sur, Mexico a couple of times a year. The Quality Inn in Temecula is always our first night’s stay before a long drive of 1,563 miles to our Baja home. We begin that trek having experienced a luxurious evening at the Quality Inn. It was even nice during the huge remodelling. When returning to the SF Bay area, again after the grueling 1,563 miles, we feel as if we’re being welcomed home by the staff at the Temecula Quality Inn. The Quality Inn in Temecula is fabulous! First, the staff. From Sue, the woman who checked me in to Jessica who closed my invoice the next morning and the cheerful person managing the breakfast room. They were pleasant professional business women who made it obvious the quality of my stay was important to them. The three of them wanted to be assured it was as pleasant as possible.
Secondly, the room itself is spacious and well accommodated. Two large beds with the perfect type of mattress, lots of wonderful pillows and plenty of warm comforters. In addition, every need was prepared for. There was a refrigerator, microwave, a safe, water for drinking, cups, coffee maker, an iron, an ironing board, hair dryer, shampoo and crème rinse as well as large fluffy bath towels, enough face cloths and hand towels. A table and two chairs made having snacks and a drink feel like home without having to sit on the edge of a bed. A desk type area was perfect for some needed business work. The WiFi was strong and dependable. Last but not least, the television has a large array of channels to choose from. The next morning, visiting the breakfast room was like an extra bonus gift. Everything your taste buds could desire was there for your partaking. Eggs, to boil, scrambled eggs, sausages, yogurt, fruit, juices, coffee, tea, toast or other choices. We enjoyed our stay so much, I told my husband we should make it a point to stay a few days at this inn on our next trip and take time to be tourists and visit the Old Town Temecula. We’re planning on doing that. Congratulations to the Quality Inn of Temecula, CA and their staff for...
My family and I stayed at this hotel for 5 days. The first room had a clogged sink, milk left in the fridge, some dark oily substance dripped on the floor near the fridge and bathroom. The tub and bathroom floor had hair in it. Front desk said they would sent maintenance to fix the sink the next morning at 9. We came back to the room at 9 pm and the sink was not fixed at all, so we were switched rooms. The second room had filthy floors, hair in the bathtub, bathroom floor and a bunch of ants! The third day the power went out for several hours while we were finishing up breakfast, and someone was stuck in the elevator that whole time. The fire department could barely get the person out after the front desk attempted to, I'm not sure how this passed inspection. That same evening we asked for towels at the desk and the front desk told me he couldn't waste giving me towels when they're fully booked, and said I needed to call housekeeping next time because they don't automatically service the rooms (this was after waiting for him trying to finish eating his food); however, the day prior and without request, housekeeping knocked on our door to service and offer more towels. So this was very confusing. The breezeways, ice machines and gutters (seen from second floor) were absolutely filthy. I don't know how such a hotel could exist in such a nice area. This whole building needs to be re-constructed with all new everything. The fixtures were old, worn and rusty. The shower curtains are dirty/moldy at the bottom, and the beds squeak with paper thin walls. We could hear everything our lovely neighbors were doing. I would have expected a much better stay for the...
Read moreQuietest room I’ve stayed in. Hotel is right next to Interstate 15, & out on the balcony you see & hear traffic. But inside the room, not at all. And you don’t hear people in rooms adjacent. (We were on the top floor, so not sure about “elephants” upstairs, but I did notice that my own footfalls in the room didn’t echo as though I were the elephant.) Breakfast was the same both days. But so glad that it offered hot food. And lots of other fruit, dairy & carb choices. Importantly, I felt safe here; that is, I wasn’t fretting about my car getting broken into or being panhandled in the parking lot (as I read in a review of a different hotel I was considering.) This location is a commercial & light industrial area, and the building is off the main street behind a strip of other businesses. In fact, I missed the entrance the first time by & had to U-turn, because you don’t really know the hotel is there from the street. Value for the money? As it turns out, I guess so. I booked three weeks before an event, & was startled at prices everywhere in the area. The Sunday stay was reasonable, but the Saturday stay cost more than 2.5 times as much. Maybe it would have been more affordable if I had booked earlier, as there were other events that weekend (Little League championship, Coachella.) However, I researched again a few days after booking, & felt lucky to have snagged this reservation. And as I wrote above, the hotel experience was...
