We have stayed in La Quinta before and expected a good rest and relaxation night away. It was not. The first room was not ready it smelled like poop and had no linens the window was open so they were airing out someone’s nastiness. The 2nd room appeared clean, no bed bugs but the floor wasn’t really clean and the sink backed up. It was late and we were tired so I do t complain and ask for another room. I figured the next one would be the same. The bed was hard and uncomfortable the air didn’t work good and believe me it was hot. Over 100 in the Temecula desert. I took a shower and forgot my Body soap and guess what? They forgot it too so I used to e little bitty bar that was at the sink. The kind that wo t lather but hey it was enough for one night. Too late to go look for another last minute place. The sink water was sluggish. When I took my dog out to potty it smelled like sewer outside, hence the sluggish sink I guess. There was dog poop all over the sidewalks and the road surrounding the hotel. There were poop bags available but lazy people won’t clean up after their dogs so we had to dodge the poop bombs and I of course picked up after my dog. In the morning the food looked not good so I had coffee but it was watered down so couldn’t drink it. I told the desk clerk all the horrors and she was rude. Said the house keepers could have a bad day and they try to catch the people who let their dogs poop all over. I suggest they fine them since they should have cameras to see the culprits. But in the mean time have someone from the hotel, an employee go clean it up so that guests don’t have to dodge stepping in it. She didn’t like that. I won’t go back there. There seems to be a lot of people living there so not just your average travel guests. That will immediately lower the standards of a hotel. I don’t recommend this hotel and oh $170/night by booking.com. The reservation desk on the phone wanted to charge over $300/night. So I recommend yall drive on to the next one this one needs cleaning...
Read more☆☆☆☆ (1 out of 5 stars — and that’s being generous)||If I could give zero stars, I would. I checked into La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Temecula and was immediately greeted by a nightmare.||First off, the room was unlocked when I arrived. That alone is a massive safety concern. Once inside, I found the room dirty, hot, and completely unwelcoming. It smelled unclean, and the AC wasn’t working — it must have been over 90 degrees inside. Not exactly the restful welcome you’d expect.||To make matters worse, there was a dog barking nonstop in the room next door, clearly disturbing the peace, and not a single staff member seemed to care.||When I went to the front desk to ask for help, the woman working there was incredibly rude and dismissive. She threw my room keys at me during check-in, didn’t even provide a pen for the form I was asked to sign, and acted like basic courtesy was beneath her. When I told her the room situation was unacceptable, she offered no real empathy — just indifference and attitude.||I asked to be moved, and instead of trying to make it easier, she told me I had to go back upstairs, pack all my things, come back down, and then she might give me another key — because it was “against policy” to issue a second one. Completely unhelpful and absolutely tone-deaf to what a guest experience should be.||I ended up leaving the hotel entirely and staying elsewhere — and now they’ve refused to issue a refund, despite me not even staying the night. Absolutely disgraceful.||This hotel needs a complete overhaul in management, training, and basic hospitality standards. If you care about cleanliness, comfort, or even basic human decency — stay...
Read moreYou get what you pay to say the least, the night watchman was a little creepy, sarcastic and mildly rude. Don’t expect for any of the vending machine be working you can’t even get what you pay for in regards to these.. Once we entered our room we noticed it was cold so naturally we turned on the heater and it smelled like we were reheated a coffin. Intern we had to open our window with a broken lock to get the smell of death out of our room. After giving up on the heater and closing our unsecure window we decided might as well to watch television, not to our surprise at this point the TV Naturally played 90% commercial with 3 minutes interruptions of actual TV. So instead of enjoying a nice warm secure room with a movie we were forced to place something in the windowsill and resort to an iPad with extra blankets. Upon waking early in the morning due to the cold temperatures, we decided to take a simple shower, not realizing that half of the water would end up on the floor, soaking up the dirty clothes that had been placed there. I thought this would be the end of it, but then we went to breakfast they gave you 90% of the fixings to make an egg McMuffin, you get the egg puck and sausage puck and English muffins but no cheese. The orange juice tasted like it was squeezed from a concentrate tree. Needless to say I decided to avoid the extra bowel movements and move on to a reputable restaurant, 10 for 10 would not stay here again and don’t waste your time calling the front desk on the hotel room phone. It’s better to just go do...
