I am very disappointed about this place. We had gotten a wedding band (ring enhancer) here a few months ago, and got it sized to fit my engagement ring a week ago. (First of all, when my fiancé was looking for engagement rings, the lady's there were not helpful or nice to him at all. They immediately asked him his budget. Un sure on what our budget really was, he threw out a number. When he told them, they just sent him on his way.) Taking the ring in to get it sized was not a pleasant experience. The lady (different every time so I do not know the names) was not very friendly, explained very little and not welcoming. After a few yes or no questions the ring was sent off. When I called the day of pick up what time I should be there and a few other questions, the lady on the phone just cut off my sentence and said she will email us when it gets here. Finally we get a email almost at closing time, so we get the ring the next day. When we got home, I noticed that the ring WAS CROOKED. On top of that the rings DID NOT FIT MY FINGER! My engagement ring also did not fit correctly on the wedding ring enhancer, they did not clean my rings and they left buff marks and scratches on the wedding ring! I WAS FURIOUS. The next day we took the ring back. Before we went to KAY JEWLERS, we stopped by the original place we got the engagement ring. (Capri jewelers) We asked them their opinion on the ring and how it should have ben sized. The lady manager there was VERY HELPFUL. She explained to us how the rings were sized, and saw exactly how the ring was wrong. She cleaned our rings, and told us exactly how the rings SHOULD have ben sized and how they messed up the rings. So... we head off the KAY Jewelers. (F.Y.I. we were very calm and did not make a scene about the situation) The man there had NO CLUE what he was doing. We explained our problem and how the ring was not right. He looked at the ring and couldn't understand what we were concerned about, when he sort of understood he had no idea how to fix it. Annoyed, we showed him how the rings were not fitting and asked him to get it fixed, and make the wedding ring bigger (and straight), so it would fit my finger. We asked to make the ring 6.25. He followed that request with "We only go in half sizes, not quarter." (we were just told by another jewelry shop that it was possible) Annoyed again, and talking with him we had to explain to him 4 times what ring needed to be sized, how we needed it sized, how and why it didn't fit and how it was crooked. He got another lady involved after he explained that this was out of his expertise. We explained to the lady the problem. She hardly looked at the rings. She explained how she thought the rings were sized and stated how the top of the ring didn't fit. (It would take to long to explain on here, just to sum it up it was rubbish and made no sense. Her way would only make the top too wide for my engagement ring, not crooked.) Then her other option was to order another wedding ring in the size close to what I need, but it wouldn't get here until after my wedding. ANOYED, FURIOUS AND DISSAPOINTED we left, and NEVER will purchase any ring at a KAY...

If you do not get the watch size on the spot they claim they have no tools. The option was to leave my already purchase watches and they will try to respond size. Okok that's Outlet Service maybe at a discount Rate !!! FYI I had always been pleased with the service begore. The sales associate at the glendale location noticed and we received it back. After wearing it for a few weeks, it fell out again. We took it to this location to have it serviced again, and I received it back with super glue under the gem... This was an expensive purchase on my husband's behalf and this process has been so drawn out that I will not be purchasing from Kay any further.
