Update 6 months later (02/25/23) Everything in my initial review still stands. We came in last night and were seated upstairs. It was a little quieter which was nice. We ordered a few appetizers and a side ceasar to kind of do tapas style versus ordering an entree. Our server (Jessica R) was great. She was very friendly and just the right amount of attentive... not so much that we felt rushed but not so little that we felt abandoned.
We ordered the Scotch eggs, ceasar salad, and artichoke like last time... still yummy. We also decided to try the beer battered cheese curds because it comes with sweet jalapeno jam and sriracha dipping sauce... and I love a good sauce! We thought they were probably the best cheese curds we've had. The perfect light crunchy outside with gooey cheese inside. Definitely will order again (although I wish they had half orders because it's a lot for 2 people).
Another dinner here, another success! Great experience. Lovely server, delicious food, good vibes.
We decided to take my husband's sister and niece here when they came to visit this past weekend from Kansas. It was nice because their menu had something for everyone, even a super picky 17-year old.
We went early to have about 45 minutes to order happy hour items before my sister-in-law's friends met us for our actual dinner reservation time. Thankfully they were able to seat us at our table so we wouldn't have to close out tabs and move an hour later.
The teen ordered queso. She said she liked it. My husband and I shared the Scottish Eggs appetizer (not on the happy hour menu but I wanted it so I got it) and the artichoke dip. Both were really good! The eggs were cooked to perfection and came with a mustard sauce on the side. The artichoke dip was definitely unlike any other artichoke dip I've ever had. It had so much flavor!
For an entree we split the spicy sausage mac n cheese since we were kind of full already (and we hate having leftovers). It sounds like a common sense thing but I'm so thankful when servers and the kitchen staff split meals for us instead of awkwardly handing us an empty plate. Such a small thing but it makes dinner much MUCH easier for us. I also got a side ceasar salad since I was craving one. Both dishes were very yummy!
My only "meh" part of the review is that the nonalcoholic mango drink was kind of sour. But that's probably just a preference thing... since I like the mango drinks to be sweeter like from a riper mango.
But overall, we had a great experience! We will definitely be back and as my husband put it "I think we found...

Read moreCelebrated my dad's bday here and it did not disappoint. I will say the parking sucks especially when it's 106° out and you have to walk forever for parking because the spots near the restaurant are full. Keep this in mind especially if you have elderly in your party. Started off with the blood orange Margherita which was really good and refreshing. The Moroccan coffee drink with the 4 different alcohols was good but nothing special. A bit too sweet but not bad. The table ordered spicy cauliflower, queso, and Brussel sprouts. All very tasty but the queso portion was a bit too small. I would not recommend that one. For entrees, we ordered the steak salad cooked medium and the fish and chips. The salad was good but the steak was way too tough and chewy for that price point. Do not recommend. The fish and chips however was the winner of the table! Big, moist chunks of flaky fish with a nice batter and yummy tartar sauce. We really enjoyed this dish and highly recommend. My father received a free bday chocolate cake slice which was actually pretty amazing! I would order that for dessert. The service was great and the ambiance was nice. Not too loud and seats were comfortable. All in all, I highly recommend this place as the menu is very diverse and everyone can find something they can eat and will enjoy! Can't...
