Black Tie Formalwear — Attraction in Thornton Township

My son decided to go to prom the day before it took place. After successfully acquiring a last minute ticket to prom, we began what we thought would be the impossible task of finding someone who had a tuxedo to rent on the same day.

Ray and his staff were VERY helpful, and pulled together a very nice tuxedo for my son. However, I was really torn about the cut of the pants. We were really hoping for a slimmer fit - which was not available at such short notice. Just as I was about to rent the tuxedo, thinking that maybe I could buy a separate pair of pants from somewhere else, Ray provided the name and location of another tuxedo rental place, that may have what I wanted at such short notice. He told me he would hold the tuxedo just in case. But that the wanted me to be completely happy with my rental.

I was able to find what I needed at the location he suggested and called him back to thank him.

This level of customer service is unheard of. I WILL be back in the future, when I have time to plan ahead. We need businesses like this to remain open in our community. When the owner puts the needs of the customer in front of making a profit, they should be rewarded with our loyalty and continued business.

Also, special acknowledgement of the young Black male employee (sorry, I don't remember his name). He went above and beyond providing recommendations for my son and sharing about his high school experiences. We appreciate the exceptional customer service we received from both Ray and his employee!
