I come here quite often and it’s usually a pretty chill place, cheap drinks and quick service. But lastnight I had a bartender tell me that she was “too busy to make shots” for my friends and I. I’ve been bartending for four years and I cannot think of a time that I’ve ever been tooo busy for shots. That is literally my job 😅 I have served bars three times as packed as they were lastnight and never turned down shots. We had all just gotten off of work, arrived at about 1 and wanted to rip some shots to get the night started. My mind is still blown that she didn’t want to make us shots, I know she is new but that’s not okay!!! Oh, and did I mention that not even 30 seconds after she denied us, SHE TURNED AROUND AND TOOK A SHOT. 😂 I stormed out and I am not sure if we will be back... please get some quality bartenders, it really will make...

I had called on the 15th of December to confirm they were still doing their Monday open mic night prior to Christmas. I also confirmed I could do a 5 minute comedy set.

The bar was small, and it definitely didn't support a comedy feel, but it didn't matter because I was brought 22 people out to watch.

However, when my people arrived, I was told it was only music, and that there was another bar all of us should go to that was doing comedy open mic as well. Unfortunately, that bar was closed because it was the Monday before Christmas.

Clearly, the bar is EXTREMELY well off and doesn't need patrons if they're will to turn 20+ patrons away because the man running the open mic didn't want someone to steal 5 minutes of him...

Open on a Sunday night, which makes it one of the few in the area. Very lively and friendly crowd. Nice mix of beers, including "economy" specials if you need a break from micro-brews.
