Table Forty 4 — Restaurant in Toledo

Extremely disappointed with our experience at Table 44. We booked a company holiday party here for 28 people, the reservation was made 4+ weeks in advance yet when we started showing up at 620 (for a 630 reservation) our patio area was not cleared, in fact there were other people still sitting and eating in that area. We had arranged for a buffet style dinner therefore it would be a bit easier on the wait staff, when we showed up at 620 the food, including the meat was already out on the tables, with no lids. When everyone started eating there were complaints all around about the cold food, the undercooked green beans and the RAW chicken. The manager was notified and yet no discounts or help were offered to make our experience better. The manager proceeded to get into a heated verbal discussion with the person in charge of our holiday party telling her that he didn't care about our experience of Table 44, that he turned down other customers just to put us there and that we weren't going to "tarnish" their name with poor reviews. This place is the most disgusting place I've ever worked. The owners are so disrespectful to their customers, and their staff. They dont even have a cooler for their condiments that come on the side of your plate! Ketchup, ranch,mayo, Cole slaw etc. It's on ice (melted, room temperature) all day out in the open. When I first started as daytime bar, it's super slow and so I utilized my time by cleaning bottles, liquor/ice wells, coolers. First off the bottles were so dirty I used two white cloths that were completely black when finished. Broken glass in the liquor well by the ice. I completely removed them and sent them through dish in the kitchen. And the COOLERS your bottled beer was stored in behind the bar, had two inches of dirty cloudy water with sideways bottles laying in this disgusting water. I just can't believe a place this dirty, disrespectful, and slow/inconsistent is still open. Lucky alcohol sells itself!. Worst place ever....and I've lived all over the country due to being a military spouse! I do not...

Absolutely the worst! We came here for our holiday party with a group of 30. Buffet style. Our party was to start at 630. We arrived at 625. The back room was not ready for us and yet our food was sitting out. We ended up turning and organizing the tables ourself. When it came time to eat, the food was cold and the chicken was not cooked. We asked for another pan of chicken. ..that came out undercooked as well. When it came time to pay, they wanted us to pay for 40 people instead of 30. And we had to fight to only pay for 30. We explained our dissatisfaction of the food, but the manager did not care. His response was that he lost so much money with us in the room and not having the tables open. He started to argue with us during our Christmas Gift exchange ....in front of everyone. No class. No courtesy. No management skills. We told him we would not be back and he said who cares,...
