Went here for the first time today as I am new in town and was checking out local places. I ordered the plain Jane burger with cheddar and ketchup, side of mac & cheese and the buttermilk cheese curds with ranch.

To say, I was disappointed in the quality of the food would be an understatement. The burger Was… acceptable, I guess. It didn’t have the right cheese, but that was whatever but for $12 I expected something that had a better taste/texture than the frozen burgers from Gordon’s food service.

My real beef was the cheese curds. I love cheese curds and was very excited to try them up here in the north/Midwest. They came out charred. That is the best word I can use. I understand the servers don’t have any control over the food and how it’s cooked, but I would not have even bothered to bring those out as a Server— you know no one wants to eat charcoal cheese. I can’t even say that maybe they forgot about them because they were busy as there were at most 13 people in the restaurant at the time and only two of us were eating food.

It was pretty clear that I had not eaten any of them, but neither server asked if there was an issue with them. Also, that’s on me. I didn’t bring it up, but i’m generally non-confrontational, and it was very loud and stressful in there, and I was getting overstimulated, and as I knew I’m definitely not gonna be becoming a regular, there wasn’t really much point.

To speak on the overstimulation, again there were maybe 13 people in there and the music was at a volume more suited to a full house...

1st timers there today for an early dinner before the Mudhens game. Arrived at 4:00 and despite working the bar by herself until 5 pm, our server Courtney was on top of things! There were atleast a half dozen separate patrons (4 of which were there to eat) and she did her best to take care of us all in a timely fashion. By the time we left, the place was packed but luckily help had arrived. Now on to the food....it came to our table within about 15 minutes and was delicious. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap (on wheat) and hubby, the blackbean burger on brioche. We both had the bagged potato chips but ordered a side of the redskin potato salad which was tasty as well. At $20.88 for two meals with a soda and a water, the prices are very reasonable. We will definitely come back and try their pizza and...

The wife and I spent over an hour..... just TRYING to get a drink. We'd just been in a fairly severe car wreck just blocks away, and were pretty stressed. They didn't have what I really wanted so I ordered something simple. As did the wife. I ordered a "Screwdriver". She ordered a Jack n Coke. Pretty simple right? Something so simple we ALL learned how to make these in JR High!..... WRONG!!! They NEVER got us our order! We were with a fee friends, so bailing wasn't an option. When they FINALLY brought us something it wasn't anywhere close to what we ordered. My buddy ordered a quesadilla..... what he got looked more like a mini PB&J!....

I DO NOT...

My boyfriend & I stopped here while passing through OH to watch the Lion’s game yesterday. We had some drinks & both got the Guilty Pleasure burger which was pretty good even though patties were a bit thin & possibly frozen. They also didn’t have French fries, only chips (which I don’t care for). Overall, it was okay & priced fairly, but would've been cooler if they had a mechanical bull or at least some pool tables/darts. It also would’ve been nice to have some kind of drink special/cocktail menu.

Stopped in last night after the Jeff Dunham show at the Huntington Center. Had a nice cool, crispy IPA to drink and ordered a sandwich to take home, their take on a Cuban. They had some live music 🎶 playing which was great. They definitely have a good atmosphere, so if you are ever in the downtown Toledo area, they would be a great option for you to stop and have a drink and grab a bite to eat.
