Central Sight and Sound — Attraction in Town of Babylon

I could see why this place has good reviews. I took my 24 Integra there to get a remote starter installed on it. My car's a manual so some shops may not want to install a remote starter on it but I called up this particular shop and they said that they install remote starters on manuals and seemed to know what they were talking about. Long story short, I ended up getting a remote starter installed on it as well as an alarm and footwell lights. I have to say, these guys really know what they're doing. The remote start itself has a little procedure for arming it as I expected but sure enough, it works. It even has some sort of safety feature so if it's remote started in gear, it will shut off at the very instant that the car starts to move. I saw it with my own eyes and when remote started in gear, the car actually shut off before it could even stall. The alarm itself works fine, nothing to write home about as I opted for a basic alarm but they did a great job in drilling the flashing security light into the interior, so much so that it literally looks like it came from the factory. Footwell lights are even brighter than I expected and they installed a toggle switch that's out of sight but easy to access right near my hood release, in a way where my foot won't touch it when I use the clutch pedal. The price might seem a little on the higher side but when I factor in the quality of service as well as the fact that I have lifetime warranty on the remote start system and alarm, I can't complain. All in all, I'm very content with the services I received here from Joe and the other guy who's name I think was Richard and plan to come back here whenever I get my next manual car in a couple years.

I felt compelled to share my experience with Rich Lupo at Central Sight and Sound. Being in the sales realm, people are always so quick to share negative experiences, but not many go out of their way to share positive ones.

Somehow I dealt with the abysmal factory radio in my 2012 2 door JK for the last 4 years and said every year that I was going to upgrade it. I finally bit the bullet before the summer and decided to change everything out.

I can honestly say that I've never dealt with such knowledgeable, professional and helpful people in business, not to mention patient! Originally he replaced the head unit, added an amplifier for the interiors and replaced all of the interiors with Kicker components. While it sounded great, apparently a 2 door Wrangler with the soft top isn't the best "sound stage" and I wanted something a little more.

Having to deal with my OCD ass, without hesitation, Rich took my Jeep back in, upgraded the head unit again and added a sub and second amplifier. All in all, the whole system sounds absolutely amazing, gives me exactly the sound I was looking for and then some. The highs and mids are incredibly loud and clear even with the top down on the highway and the sub added the punch it needed.

I'm admittedly unreasonably particular when it comes to working on my Jeep and Rich and the crew at Central Sight and Sound made the entire process and experience amazing! I highly recommend...

Great shop, Great experience. Caters more to a higher end clientele that may prefer not going to a high school kids shop. I had my DTS done there a couple years ago, added a viper 2 way alarm and stealth radar detector with laser jammer. I also had the same devices installed for my wifes CX9 when we purchased it but also upgraded the sound system as well to navigation with DVD player and some upgraded lighting. Rich explained everything very well and was knowledgeable about the products and what I needed to spend and what I didn't need to spend. Much better then some shops where a 19yo kid is trying to sell me what the latest craze on the streets are. I trusted Rich's 10+ years experience in the industry and the fact that he works on higher end vehicles not like a couple shops I passed by that had spray painted chopped up cars all in their parking lots. All in all I have always had a great experience here and like the owners up front, educated, no nonsense approach to his profusion.
