Managers here are so rude and unhelpful and they aren’t even aware of their own return policies. Called the store to see if I could exchange a DSG brand item that broke and a rep that was IN THE STORE told me I could. Then I showed up and lugged this 100 lb item into the store and they denied my exchange, even going as far as claiming they had no record of my purchase, which their customer service hotline found for me in minutes.
After calling customer service THREE times and bringing the item into the store and being turned away two more times: the customer service hotline called the store and had to remind them that there is a 12 month warranty on DSG brand products. Customer service said every store manager in the company should know this, as if it’s basic knowledge for them.
I honestly didn’t care and was prepared to buy a brand new item until the managers were straight up rude to me the instant we began speaking. I get that corporate retail jobs suck but it doesn’t give you the right to be rude and mislead customers just because you’re lazy and hate your job. I honestly hope this store closes so nobody has to deal with the terrible and incompetent...
Read moreThe manager is super rude and incompetent. I dropped off a bike to get assembled that was delivered by UPS unassembled. The manager told me it would take 1 week for the job to get done. After two weeks, I called back to check the status of my order. He mentioned that he did not see my order in the system. I was put on hold for a while after which the manager informed me that the bike was assembled and had been left on the side and forgotten. Later in the day, I called the store to inform them that I was waiting outside to pick up my bike. A staff member picked up the phone and after spelling out my name that was on the order, his response was "what?" Then again I tried to inform him that I was there to pick up my bike. However, since my name is foreign, he pretended to not understand my accent and hung up the phone. I want to stress that I am born here and have multiple degrees, so the speech could not have been that incoherent. Brought this up to the manager and he chastised me for insulting his store and employees. After some debate, he told me to just take my bike and go. Read moreI always get to Dicks and usually they either sell out or they say they have 2 left to purchase, and that is never the case, like yesterday, Tuesday, Sept 2nd. The online app said they had 2 of the kids' baseball shorts left, and a pair of Nikes. Again, not the case until I went to Customer Service and showed the lady at the Register. The Nikes she said ahead had 0 stock, Smfh. Then she looked up these BB 101 shorts, which showed 2. Customer service called for an employee in that department, whose name was Joshua. Joshua went over the section, went through everything, and said I don't see the size. Joshua then said, Let me go in the back. Maybe they just haven't put it on the rack yet. 🤔That's probably what happened with the shoes when they get shipments. Lo and behold, Joshua comes back in less than 10 minutes holding the shorts. 🙏 My prayers were answered. Joshua went above and beyond for us. Thank you, Joshua.
