Update: The restaurant owner's response is absurd. They're just making stuff up. The owner wasn't even there, just the manager, so how does he/she know what we did or did not do? In fact, we did not eat all the food--we took a bunch home because we were forced to pay for all of it and we did not want to be wasteful. Also, we never complained about the quality of the food. The food was fine. The service is terrible, as illustrated by the restaurant's response--still trying to blame us for their mistake. All that was necessary was a sincere apology and a sincere attempt at a reasonable accommodation (rather than a 2% discount to make us go away and for them to be able to say they gave us a "discount"), but instead they just keep fighting us. Even if there was no accommodation, if they had been sincere with an apology from the beginning, we would have been fine with that. Mistakes happen, that's fine, but if they do, just own it. Stop trying to shift the blame. Lastly, I'm not sure on what universe a 1.5 hour wait for food is "not that long".
Worst dining experience of my life. Service was terrible and restaurant was way too loud. We had reservations for 6:30pm and we didn't get our food until 8:30pm. That wasn't the worst part. When we received the check, we found that the waitress had made a mistake and charged us for an additional deluxe tray at a cost of $235. When we spoke to the manager, instead of trying to find a resolution, she proceeded to get defensive, make excuses, and blame us for the mistake. There are plenty of great seafood restaurants in this area with great food and great service. Don't...

Good thing for screen shots !
I originally posted a review and had to revise it since the manager was highly inappropriate bringing up customers children and people’s PERSONAL medical emergencies and trying to use those unfortunate events as some weird petty insult to deflect and discredit a paying customer ! At this point I have screen shots and will be going to higher ups and filing a claim with my bank for a refund since the manager is incapable of any empathy !
So here’s my new review of this restaurant :
Beware of this place !
Overpriced, subpar food where you will get food poisoning then get gaslit by management where the end result will be loss time at work for you , medical bills and a big fat hole burnt into your wallet ! Just peep all of their bad reviews ( also beware they delete reviews too ) it’s many people saying the same things even some folks showing they had glass in their drinks, bad tasting food and burnt food , I am definitely not the only one and sadly there will be more over time with the way they run this establishment ! So If you want to spend over $100 plus there are SO many better choices of restaurants to...

I had a confirmed reservation for 8:15 PM on Valentine’s Day at Red Crab Juicy Seafood & Bar - West Nyack (also referred to as Red Crab Palisades), but the experience was a complete disaster.
When I arrived, there was a huge line outside—which was already a red flag. Still, I assumed having a reservation meant I wouldn’t have to wait. Wrong. I went to the hostess stand, gave my name, and was shocked when she told me I had to stand in line with everyone else—even though I had a confirmed reservation.
What’s the point of making a reservation if you still have to wait in a line of 25+ people just to get inside? This is completely unacceptable, especially on a special night like Valentine’s Day. If the restaurant was overbooked or running behind, they should have communicated that beforehand. Instead, they left customers standing outside in the cold, making reservations worthless.
The entire experience was poorly managed, chaotic, and frustrating. If you’re looking for a restaurant that respects its customers’ time, this is NOT it.
Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere that actually honors...
