Bagel Mentch — Restaurant in Town of North Hempstead

I have been coming to bagel mench for years. The food tastes great and the prices are definitely fair, especially compared to most other kosher bagel shops, but I think it would be beneficial for management to speak to the employees about proper etiquette in the workplace. The employees have many moments in which they act in an extremely rude manner and make sarcastic comments towards the customers, they are not always attentive when someone is making an order and when we finally made it home to eat our bagels we realized that they completely prepared our order incorrectly (this had happened on more than one occasion).

That being said, the food itself at bagel mench is definitely great and I would definitely reccomended it to my friends, but I again would appreciate if the employees were a little more attentive towards their customers.

Absolutely disgusting and rude management!!! I got delivery that I ordered from Grubhub, and on Grubhub it gave me an option to add fruit to my waffle for an extra two dollars. When I received my order and saw they did not add the fruit, I called to let them know and immediately the man on the phone jumped down my throat about how they do not have fruit in the store. I said ok that would have been fine but why wouldn't anybody call to tell me instead of continuing to charge me the extra two dollars. He yelled at me on the phone and told me I would need to call Grubhub that it's not his problem, and hung the phone up on me. Absolutely disgusting behavior from an establishment, that's how you talk to your customers?? The food was disgusting, I wish I could give this place...

I just had a very rude racist experience at bagel Mentch. I was on the phone speaking to my business partner when I decided to run in and grab a couple of bagels and be on my way. I was ignored and then told we don’t serve people that’s on the phone. I thought about it for a moment, and then said, if I was a White man, doing my business on the phone, you would have been glad to serve me. He started arguing with me, about me playing the race card.. I told him I didn’t believe that. How about me playing the factual card? I said have a nice day to take my business elsewhere. He still arguing with me walking out the door. Then he yelled that I was ignorant.So I turn back into the store, and address this Karen. Then he said he would call the police....
