Cold Spring Pier is a great place to relax and enjoy the Hudson River views. It's a short walk from the train station, and it's free to use. The pier is long and wide, so there's plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the sunshine. There are also a few benches and tables if you want to sit down.

The views from the pier are amazing. You can see the Hudson River, the hilly town of Cold Spring, and the military academy at West Point. On a clear day, you can even see the Catskill Mountains in the distance.

If you're looking for a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the outdoors, Cold Spring Pier is a great option. It's also a great place to fish, birdwatch, or just take a walk.

Here are some additional details about Cold Spring Pier:

It's open year-round, but it's best to visit during the spring, summer, or fall when the weather is warm and sunny. There are no restrooms or food vendors on the pier, so be sure to bring your own snacks and drinks. The pier can get crowded on weekends, so it's best to visit during the week if you want to avoid the crowds. Overall, Cold Spring Pier is a great place to relax and enjoy the Hudson River views. It's a free, easy-to-reach, and family-friendly spot that's perfect for a day trip or a quick escape from the hustle and bustle...

Cold Spring Pier is a delightful spot to unwind by the Hudson River. With plenty of park benches and shaded areas, it offers a perfect setting to relax. I often bring guests from out of town here, and they never fail to appreciate the serene atmosphere and scenic views.

Is a very nice and refreshing getaway from the world, specially with this pandemic and social distancing. Amazing mountains and river views. Everyone was also very respectful keeping their distance while being friendly too. As a plus, get some nice and delicious ice cream from Moo Moos Creamery across the street from this pier like i did. You won't be...

Nice waterfront, clean. It offers a good view of Crow's Nest and Storm King State Park. I also recommend walking around Cold Spring Village. This is a small tourist village. The centerpiece of this village is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Cold Spring has many different cafes and shops.

Great place to stop by if driving north from JFK. Very nice town with loads of restaurants and boutique style shops. Views across the river are impressive. Parking only a few dollars at the train station, which was a short walk away.
